Pure accident. I did not take Roach with me and was being chased by a pack of wolf along the road to the quest location. I just ran as fast as I could to whereever the road would lead me and eventually I arrived at that village with that poor fellow screaming in panic and approached me quickly.

He might be the least intelligent, but surely the most interesting. Even his name successfully made me laugh the first time the first time I heard it.

Yes, definately interesting! They gave him distinct personality.

Update: forget that. I just returned home and saw the Cat-Wolf DLC at GOG. Only one. I do not know if it contains the alternative look as well. I will download it after dinner.

With 4 Free DLC left (now 3 I guess), I bet it becomes one per week now, in order to keep providing content as close as they can until the first paid DLC is released in October. It's one way of keeping the interest level alive.

The longer (20 hour DLC) won't be avalable until February, I believe.

This is the beggining!

When you paste the x360ce_x64.exe in the The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt/bin/x64 folder do not run after you obtain:

1-x360ce.App-2.0.2.163.zip (old version of x360ce.exe emulator)
2-x360ce_libraries_r732_x64_VS2010.zip (inside is the xinput1_3.dll V.3.4.0.732)

Installing:
You need to paste x360ce.App-2.0.2.163 (old version) in the The Witcher 3 Wild Hunt/bin/x64 folder and this is the first one you will run (this will said Beta) and intall the 2 file that offer, the x360ce.ini and the version of xinput1_3.dll. Then you need to copy and paste/replace with xinput1_3.dll V.3.4.0.732 that is in the x360ce_libraries_r732_x64_VS2010.zip, just use that file, the others are not necesaries. After that you will delete the x360ce.exe and the run the x360ce_x64.exe but do not let that change the xinput1_3.dll V.3.4.0.732 for the new one that offer to upgrade, then when you are runing the x360ce_x64.exe you will see the controller 1 the green square and all the buttons function of your Rumbled Pad 2 Controll as xBox Controll by the Emulator, even will function with other kind of supported device controls.

Ciri's Zerrikanian outfit wasn't meant to be out this week and it wasn't fully ready (the files I mean, the design is final). Unfortunately it was published prematurely. We apologize for the confusion.

A couple of good news :

• A player stash for storing items, available in various locations throughout the game. Stash locations are marked on the player's map
• Crafting and alchemy components no longer add to the overall inventory weight.
  
• Books are now placed in a dedicated tab in the Inventory and books that have already been read are properly grayed out.
  
• Multiple sorting options are now available in the Inventory.

Make sure you budget the $28 or so for the two expansion packs also!! First comes out in October.

I hope they fixed the encounter with Roche in "Get Junior" quest. The last time I met him the cutscene did not trigger when I approach Temerian Camp. Roche was just standing and doing nothing. The only workaround I did was to reload a save made before travelling to the Temerian camp. Even that was not a reliable solution because it took me several loads before the cutscene could trigger properly.

And personal stash is a very welcome addition. I love collecting relic and rare weapons.

TIFU; i was going to sit down and play some more Witcher 3 then discovered that GOG Galaxy doesn't cloud save! hahahahaha oh man i messed up bad. I'm just after installing Windows 10 the other day so long story short i had problems swapping my original Windows 7 install to a new SSD and had major temporary profile crap going on that wrecked my documents. Luckily not everything was destroyed as most of my stuff was saved to a HDD that i use for storage but bye bye to my Witcher 3 save.

@MilkyWay in the future, move your documents folder off your SSD. That way you'll always have all your game saves for any game that uses documents folder. It also saves alot of extra writes of big files, lime Witcher 3 saves are.

Yeah im going to back up the documents folder periodically, if i ever have to transfer a whole drive again im going to back that up before doing so. Just lessons, you think nothing will happen and something always does. IF the Samsung migration tool would have worked i wouldn't have had a problem.

So, as I suspected, they will start spreading this out as much as possible to get it as close to the first Expansion DLC release as possible. Or, this patch took alot of work so they didn't have the time for the DLC. Either way, it's ok with me. Having storage chest locations now is like a DLC to me!

Yeah, just read that on the CDPR forums. This patch was "all hands on deck".
