im sure EA will completely screw this game over just like battlefront. or you get the bas egame for $60 and then have to pay $20-30 more for titan assault and all that. lol people will buy anything these days.
 
i really hope they release more than 7 maps on Campaign... contrary to BF4... i payed the deluxe edition. hoping all expansion were more single player missions and got ultra disappointed with all the multiplayer shit ...
 
BF is a multiplayer game. I don't mind a short campaign, but a longer campaign will probably eat into the core game and isn't worth it. But I would like the decent 4-5 hour straight forward campaign that shipped with 3/4.

As for premium I suppose you should have read what you bought as it was clearly all MP based content. You don't buy Fallout for a multiplayer experience do you?

No on all the MP content period. Never been into that, never will be. Please make the SP content better/longer. Quit kissing all the MP's asses. IMO they should be 2 separate games entirely. BF MP and BF SP. Because, like I said, NO...Homie don't play that! I DO NOT buy BF games to play them with a bunch of dorks on the internet.

I'm more hyped about the possibility of a CoD4 Remastered than I am about BF5...

Remastered = same shit 1080p / 60fps on consoles, maybe a little bit better textures.

And you don't have to comment here about Minecraft game in BF thread...

COD4 was epic in its day, nobody can deny that...and even if remastered is the same shit from 10 years ago, it'll still be fun! It'd be kinda fun to see a resurgence in that game with some modern texture support to push that old Quake 3-based engine beyond the max. Pre-MW2/3 BLoPs, BF3/BF4/BF5 fun. Sounds good to me! :D

BF4 let me down big time...wasted my $$$. Honestly BF hasn't been anything entertaining for me since BF BC2 and BF2. I'll gladly watch how this title pans out, but I sure won't be investing in it anytime soon. BF5 could have a resurgence into epicdom, but really BF3 and 4 and even Hardline should've done that. I can't help but be braced for disappointment with this title. Nothing has been shown or proven to give me reason to believe otherwise.

Operation Flashpoint: Cold War Crisis(2001)/ Battlefield 2(2005) - were epic.

MW2 for 2009 is not even close to anything special, only blind teens liked it.

Would lend itself to suggest that. Moreover, there are perspective cues plus lack of reflected light. That and DICE did suggest a Q4 2016 release.
 
I hope they drop the singleplayer. The ROI is pathetic. In the BF3 poll on battlelog, only 10% of the 300k who voted said they got the game for the singleplayer, yet I remember reading (can't remember where) that in BF4 the singleplayer accounted for more than half of the budget.

The money in Battlefield is not in the singleplayer, it's a money hole that's only worth filling in with dirt.

If it is WW2 (and I'm in the camp that's hoping it is) at least no one will be complaining about lock on spam.
 
Honestly I don't see what can be done to improve the multiplayer of BF. After expansions and patches BF3 and 4's multi was amazing and currently is. So they need to make the single player campaign worthy of the name.
 
Seems believable to me. I look forward to it. Save BF5 for the next go round.

BF4 multiplayer is not about who has the best skill, it's about who can use the bugs the best to their advantage. Between the bugs and the auto lock spam, it's probably one of the worst Battlefield multiplayers of all time. If BF5 is WW2 or WW1, it will probably be one of the best Battlefields since BF2/2142.

I can't say I played it enough to understand what your point of view. I find it very fun with so much variety.
 
Everyone will hate me for saying this but i really hate the idea of WW2 theme. I played so many WW2 titles during the years i can't stand WW2 anymore. Please don't take any offense in my post just wanted to share.
 
I for one hope they continue the modern theme. I don't care about trends. I like the modern theme for the weapons and vehicles.
 
I am pretty sure the WW(II) theme is not going to happen (ever) because the game has to appeal to as many players as possible. Make it WW and 80% will not buy it. People want modern (but not fucked up borderline sci-fi like CoD) shooters and for a good reason.

If you want historical shooter game, go download Heroes & Generals. It's not too bad and it's free.
