Ill make this short as I can. I woke up this morning and realized my computer had restarted this happens occasionally but this is the first time I have looked into it. I checked event viewer and it is ''Event 41''.
Description:
The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.
Going to try to put the details tab of this error in a spoiler forgive me if I can't.
Before i jump to the conclusion its my POS Logysis PSU which has been running for over a year now. I wanted to ask the forums.
Thanks in advance everyone and ill be here to answer any other questions. I'm hoping desperately it wasn't the PSU because I sure cant afford a new one.
EDIT: I have added important info moments ago in my last post I will repost here.
I have some more information. I have checked event viewer and read over multiple things.
Right after the Kernel 41 error, it says these 2 things:
Performance power management features on processor 0 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.
Performance power management features on processor 1 in group 0 are disabled due to a firmware problem. Check with the computer manufacturer for updated firmware.
A few hours afterwards while using the PC, these came up today:
The device, \Device\Harddisk0\DR0, has a bad block.
It came up twice only 4 seconds in between. I have also scrolled through and found the same error for my CD rom which is and old IDE drive.
I run DVDs at night and through the night while I sleep. I watch them while I fall asleep. And I notice that these errors will occur for the CD- Rom 10-20 times in a row.
Hopefully this may add insight. Maybe it isn't the PSU i am not sure. Thanks in advance for any help.
