Yeah just migrate the gpu to the other system if you want to do a test, but I can tell you this: the 6700k will run better in dx11 with the 1080.

I can personally confirm this. But the difference is small enough that you shouldn't even worry about it.
 
I know its a beta but some of the weapons arent too balanced and the game lacks a dedicated anti-tank class. a round i just played a guy went 50-0 because he spent the entire round in a tank. Either players are too dumb to co-ordinate attacks or make use of the artillery units around the map to take him out or there is no real means to take out a tank without making it so much of a mission that its not worth the effort.

Then we have those team mates of yours who you spawn in the plane with that randomly bail out on you without telling you so you end up having an 'accidental death' because he either rammed you into the ground before he bailed out or he was that bad of a pilot he through right into enemy fire before bailing therefore serving you up on a plate to the enemy. SMH -- I can see that aspect and tanks kind of being OP quickly ruining the game for me.
 
The game is very unbalanced and not really that great imho.. Also, how hard is it to add the feature to grab a ledge and pull yourself up?
 
It's a beta. I expect that these things are fixed over time, maybe before release.
 
I was hopeful sniping wouldn't play such a role in a WW1 game but alas, twats on ledges just racking up a K.D ratio. Oh well.
And the tanks..... Pointless anti tank grenades that take an hour to throw and the tanks can out manoeuvre them or shoot you when you pop up.
Yeah, bit more balance required.

Just found some info from Tank facts. WW1 tanks couldn't exceed 4mph. Or 2mph for Mk. 1.

Nerf the tanks ffs.

Take a look at how many Battlefield series they have released, they really should have learned some things by now but they keep making same mistakes with every new game. Over and over. Game is seriously unbalanced, why would you add tanks and planes if there's no way to fight them back? Yeah, they gave us sort of rocket launcher that causes 20% damage to tanks and you have 3 bullets :D

By the way, miss game announcers voice made me chuckle few times as well:

They should have ripped TF2 off and hired the same announcer



Since shit feels a bit more 'arcade' compared to previous BF games (as if Battlefront wasnt arcade enough) they should give you the option in the sound menu to turn on the announcer's voiceovers when you get double, triple a m-m-m-m-m-monster kills.


Though I swear to god if this game is released in such an unbalanced state....
 
I really don't understand why everyone is so daunted by tanks and snipers. There is definitely an antitank class, assault is easily the best class in the game. I also think tgat 1v1 an infantry should not be able to take down a tank (unless your position is good ir the driver is bad) the wimpy tin cans from bf4 have made people soft apperently.

If it makes you feel better, the light tanks is already confirmed for a nerf.

Snipers are good on this map, but i dont feel they are OP. I am able to stay positive 4 games in 5 playing any given class (recon is by far my weakest)
snd the medic guns are definately better. They can be used to countersnipe.
What realy needs some love is support. Ive got a feel for the guns now, ind i think they are fine, but the class has 0 useful gadgets outside of ammo. I litterally run with the ammo pack And the ammo crate because why not? I did notice that the ammo pack instantly resupplies your grenade, so grenade spam might become an issue.

But it's a new scenario, new art of game , it's not present it's not ww2 - it's ww1. So give it some time.

The tanks are far too mobile as well. They drive around searching for targets and then proceed to mow them down. Real tanks of the era moved more or less straight to assault a trench. I admit it would be boring, but at least attempt to make them play more like a WWI tank and not a modern vehicle.
 
So far i've played about 10 conquest rounds and only won like 3/10,almost all players in my squad don't play to the objective and all playing as it is COD still..thought we gone past that phase by now with migrating players.

Tanks and the train are way to mobile.. That Train can stop on a dime and I can't pull myself up a 2' ledge? and the whole running melee is nothing but COD's melee and speed perk.. but everybody has it.. Just for s and g's I started the melee run and missed the guy on purpose and ran around the map screaming ahahhaaa holding my rifle up.. lol They have turned BF into COD.. but worse...

If I buy it then it will be on sale and only for the single player...
 
Health regeneration needs to be taken out. Remove the red screen at low health and take out health generation. Force teamwork and good medics.

I can never grab someone and melee them. Used to do it in BFBC2 all the time, and I've seen people do it to me in this game: but when I hit someone that is close with "F", it just hits them once and then they end up grabbing me and killing me with the animation. What am I doing wrong?

That's what I was saying to @Finners last night. It's become COD like. There's a great KMFDM song called Godlike, someone should do a parody video.
It's now Battlefront Star Cod Wars 1.

Use a weapon with bayonet or use the shovel. The baton will only hit.
 
The bayonet charge can be dodged fairly easily. In fact its a decent strategy, it takes you a srcond to recover after a charge so if you miss or they dodge you are screwed.

For those saying tanks are too mobile have you Used the Landship or Heavy tank? Good lord they are slow. Plus they both have limited firing angles, so if a target is more than 45 degrees or so to either side you have to turn the whole damn tank. If they dont have at least one gunner they are sitting ducks.

The problem isn't those two its the light tank. Night before last I went 97 1 (First death was a sniper before getting the tank) using a light tank on rush on the assaulting team. Its a bit too maneuverable, great range, great damage, and decent armor.

While I will say a smart team can take down any tank pretty easily with a few anti-tank grenades or a sneak attack from the rear with dynamite, its still much to hard to take down a smart light tank driver. I still believe tanks need to be a bit scary, but the light tank really needs to sway more on the "Light" side to be fair compared to the other two which are slow and lumbering.

Ill second that. Imo, it should have half the armor and a lmg secondary instead of canister. Right now it takes the same number of shots to down a light tank as a heavy tank. And that canister poops all over infantry.

DICE has already confirmed a nerf for it but we don't know what that is.
