Double check your idle voltages before you do any high-load testing.

In order to eliminate the first possibility, use a multimeter, as already pointed out by @infrared and @EarthDog.
Just do the force start on a PSU (short green to ground), and check readings on 12V, 5V, 3.3V and 5VSB.

As this has all black cables, I'll have to get a pin out on everything. But I agree, I want to test it using a multimeter.

With that said, I can only use version 2.x for some reason newer wont allow me to use all the overclocking timing functions
Also as with this X750 a few years ago, I was very disturbed when new that the 5v was always low and was assured from fellow members that these new units will allow the system to pull what power levels it deems necessary at any given load, not just push xxx volts.

So, this PSU has been running an Intel 4770 chip in an MSI G45 Gamer board now for about a month and a half with no issues at all.

The system has been Crunching for our WCG Team TPU the entire time.

I have to assume it's going to be just fine in the long haul.
