Mass Effect Franchise "On Ice," Bioware's New IP Release Delayed

so... pretty much exactly the same as all ME1 non main quest worlds.
Exactly. A lot of people looking back on ME1 to 3 with rose colored glasses. For many of those it wouldn't matter if it had had zero technical problems, it still wouldn't have stood a chance.

Did we play the same game? With over 150 hours in I didn't want it to end. It captured all the same emotions and excitement and not wanting it to end that the 1st trilogy did.
I'll have to give it another shot with a more open mind then. Maybe I was to focused on the bad to see the good.

Nah, if'n you didn't like it you didn't like it. :)
That would be like someone asked no me to go back and try Dragon's Dogma or DAI again. :twitch:

I can't think of much good to say about this game.

EA I fart in your a general direction!

I think the game was designed to be a DLC leech... But the writers just suck.. They couldn't pull off a compelling enough story...
They wasted so much time giving you these gigantic worlds to explore and made the plot a secondary concern...
They should have used a third of the maps initially and then payed a helluva lot more attention to the story... It's like they were trying to do a call of duty multiplayer game with a ME twist.
ME is for the single player experience.. Not MP

I see people say this but I don't get it. I saw a good (not great, but good) story which was well tied in between side and main missions and which kept me interested to see what comes next, and excited to keep going. It wasn't any worse than the writing of any previous ME games. To me it felt EXACTLY like an ME game.

EA Games destroyed that GREAT game just like they destroyed other titles...Shame
No wonder why they voted as the WORST company....

I found myself on the final mission without realizing it... I beat the game thinking I was only half done...
84% done 27 hours...
For me the game was a total jumbled mess with a stupid plot.
The only thing that made sense to me was the game was broken down into 3 parts.. The game with 2/3 the story.. The main DLC to finish what you thought you were getting when you bought the game and the third a second DLC to tie in the next game...
Turns out they spent all their time making gigantic pointless maps on some type a grand thinking only they knew about instead making the game a game...
Almost like transitioning to frostbite was to much to do.
No publisher would have given them the finances EA did... The devs blew it...

Oh and of the 27 hours I had in the game at least 15 of it was in stupid animations....
It was a 8-10 sp

Yeah, the maps are really that flat and boring, with the same boring enemies and landmarks....on all fking planets????

I agree, if you skip all the crappy overly boring side quests, you can finish the game in 5-6 hours tops.
