You're using the latest version of DSLIA, right?
https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/threads/sli-with-different-cards.158907/post-3740425

You might wanna try patching earlier versions, from 388.16 on backwards.

If everything fails, you can try to patch the nvlddmkm.sys of the GeForce driver 388.71, then install the Quadro driver 388.16 and finally doing the DSLIA install procedure, which then replaces the Quadro driver file with the GeForce one.
AFAIK, the driver file itself (nvlddmkm.sys) is the same for GeForce and Quadro. Only the rest of the files are different.
Yep latest version of DLSIA used but result neg. ... I give up thx again..

No, except for switching off test mode, doing an advanced reboot (= <shift>-reboot) of Win 10 and pressing F7 to select 'Disable driver signature enforcement' every time.
From what I heard, this should make BattlEye work, but I'm not completely sure. But it's worth a shot, I think.
You could use Hibernation instead of switching off your comp, so this procedure would have to be done only once a week or so...

And there's this post, where someone apparently successfully installed a modified driver still using the original nVidia certificate:

Got the asus gtx 750 ti oc today and tested it for sli it works but the physx option wont enable for some reason then did the ddu clean up and reinstall the modded driver then tested tt isle of man it just keeps dashboarding and dirt 4 ran like a bag of shit the sli perfomance was really sluggish dont think the asus p5q premium like the sli hack at all i can run games nearly 60fps but it keeps stuttering with one asus gtx 750 ti oc so i had to limit to 50fps to run abit smoother at least i tried

PhysX option?
I hope you didn't include your old GTX 660 as well into your setup, right?
With this patch all cards present in any PCIe slots are fully included in the SLI setup, after enabling SLI in control panel.
You can no longer use a third card for PhysX only.

No i got a pair of asus gtx 750 ti oc now as it worked with sli but i didnt use the gtx 660 at all. I did the differentsliauto 1.7.1 with nvidia driver 388.71 and followed the guide step by step but the performance is terrible as dirt 4 just half the fps and stuttering and tt isle of man just wont start at all kept dashboarding to the desktop as event viewer stated appication error 1000 when sli is enabled but both games will work with a single asus gtx 750 ti oc. Maybe it down to my motherboard that cant cope or the cpu is freaking out or the ram is abit off but the power supply i have is antec 850 hcg as there plenty of power to run. I cant figure it out at all really

Cards are in the blue/white slots, not the black ones?
SLI Options in nVidia panel are set to recommended values?

Well, what I'd try do check first is running a game which is known to scale well in SLI.
Crytek engine games come to mind (Far Cry series, etc.). Definitely not UT4 engine games.

Other thing to check is watching 'Bus Usage' in nVidia Inspector. Might get unusually high due to lack of an SLI bridge.

Yea both cards are in blue and white which make both card run in pcie x8 and i left all the settings in recommended by nvidia control panel. I have to download nvidia inspector later to see what the usage is like there. And i may have to download far cry later to see how it scales there all will be done tonight

Hey pinkpanther got the far cry and far cry 2 to test later tonight and i will try the dslia again to see how it scales with 2 asus gtx 750 ti along with nvidia inspector. Do i look at bus usage from both graphic cards or the motherboard pcie bus usage. And what do i need to know about the bottleneck if low usage good or bad and same for high usage. That where im kinda lost

With the single gpu i have the bus usage in nvidia inspector peaks at 5% is that good? As i tested with far cry everything on high but any higher settings causes flickering on the screen the fps is low 99 in menu then in game is 130ish to high 450 depending on location. Let me know what you think?

What you want to look at in nVidia Inspector is 'Bus Usage' for both GPU0 and GPU1 (right-click on the graph to enable GPU1 as well as Bus Usage).
5% in the single-card scenario seems reasonable to me. GPU load should be close to 100% with VSync off.
I can't comment on your absolute fps numbers, but with SLI enabled, you're supposed to see GPU load distributed among the cards. If SLI scales well, both GPU loads should be close to 100% as well. Some games scale badly and you see like ~60% load on both cards. And there are games that don't support SLI at all, which run better without it.

The question here is: Does your setup at least run SLI correctly with those games that do scale well?

I will test for the sli set up later on as i did see far cry 2 hitting higher bus usage around 15/17% on the single asus gtx 750 ti oc with vsync on only problem is it having an issue with freezing after a few mins of game play so yea more tweaking need doing on my computer it becoming a habit been a wack a mole every time something goes wrong

Hello! First is all, thanks for this awesome workaround you've made, i couldn't even imagine to run sli on my mobo which only supports cf!
And i want to ask couple of questions cuz my understanding of this technologies is far from good.
My very archeological specs:
I5 2500k@4.4ghz
Mobo p8p67-le
Ram 16g ddr3
2x 1060 3g(oc info power lim 80% cuz of bad cooler mem 4400 gpu core 1900, i found it's the best settings for performance)
Driver 388.71 and dsa 1.7.1

1.) As i know there is no "sli" compatibility in dx12 based games, then why when i disable sli in Nvidia control panel, and activating mgpu with dx12 settings in Hitman, it runs only on one of my gpus? It's the same with 3d mark time spy.
2) my sli performance actually is lower than single gpu in hitman and fallout 4, and i've read this titles is actually highly scalable. Both Gpu load shows 70 to 100 %s.
I've monitored my bus load, and the highest value was around 40% even on x4 slot, in x16 it was under 17.
Cpu and Ram usage was also low (50-60%).
And the most interesting (to me) thing was that 3d mark shows around twice as much points when in sli, so i think my spec can't bottleneck my gpus...
3) even in dx12 titles, as i said, i have to activate sli in nvidia control panel, but mgpu is different tech, and theoretically has to stack ram pools, but osd shows only one gpu using it's vram, the another one is 0 usage. Why is that?

Thank you for any info!

AFAIK all current DX12 games capable of multi-GPU use 'linked node explicit' mode, which is only available if you activate 'Maximize 3D Performance" in nVidia panel.
So that option not only activates SLI (in DX11) but also linked node mode in DX12. That's why they called it that way.

40% bus load is a lot. It leaves you with only max. 60% of the actual computing power of that card, probably offsetting any performance gains from explicit mGPU.
And remember that 1060s don't have an SLI bridge, so there might be things happening between the cards, which may not be reflected in the Bus Load number you're monitoring. I'm thinking of the memory copying between the GPUs which - in the case of linked node mode - takes place without passing through system memory. This also means the CPU and thus system monitoring apps may know nothing about this.

Also it's quite normal that benchmark apps place almost no load on the bus; they focus on calculating/rendering/shader performance and are a bad benchmark for bus load.
One happens to find games, that put an unusually high load on the bus; one I particularly remember was RaceRoom Racing Experience which puts on an insane bus load, depending on the track. Stowe Circuit (which is free to play) was worst...

I want to take this thread on directx 12 and sli, I have 2 gtx 760 when I start a game with active dx12 like Gears of war 4 or battlefield 1, I have problems with performance, in fact it runs extremely slow, my only alternative is disable the sli and activate the dedicated phyx, which works perfectly this kind of games with dx12, what could it be? I have been testing many profiles in NVIDIA Inspector and I can not find how to make the DX12 work in my SLI. I have windows 10 compilation 17134 (excuse my bad english)

When using DX12 you're not actually using SLI (so there's no point in searching for SLI profiles) but multi-GPU, which is completely dependent on the implementation of the programmers.
Since your cards don't have native DX12 (only feature level 11), the performance of multi-GPU is left to chance, depending on the game: It may work well or it may not.

if you're right, in fact I always miss that the first drivers that implemented the dx12 allowed me to play the division without problems with the sli, like battlefield 1 in its first days of release, now I can not even with GOW4 or with BF1, although BF1 I do not need to use the dx12 because in dx11 it performs quite well with the custom sli profile, and GOW 4 runs very well if I apply the phyx dedicated to a card, it is a pity that they are bent on killing the sli because It is ironic that the latest demos of videogames have been in high-end sli configurations like the Anthem of bioware.

Well i did test the dslia it kinda ran horrible with 2 asus gtx 750 ti oc some of the games i tested either stutter badly or black screened. Other than that i stuck with a single asus gtx 750 ti oc. Turned out the msi onscreen status was causing the stuttering as i had to tweak the polling time and disable the onsceen shadows then the fps got steady 60fps in dirt 4 and tt isle of man if i had shadow option enabled in riva tuner stat the fps shot down to 29 to 45 all over the place making the games unplayable and crashing the graphic card driver. Since i disabled the shadows option all the games are butter smooth

I can do this whit gigabyte 1070 and zotac 1080?
Should work.
But only try this if you already have these cards; don't go out and buy something, expecting this patch simply to work.
The success rate is more like ~60-70%, depending on the individual parts of the system and the installation procedure.
