GPU mining is rapidly becoming past history and I doubt it will repeat itself, and if so, it'll be short lived. Crypto isn't viable as long as its speculative as it is. Also given the MSRP of these cards I'm not so sure they are attractive at all.

stocks of 2080ti cards are low or none existent wherever you look.. i doubt that many were made in the first place.. probably poor yields which fits in with lower than ideal quality control.. maybe..

2080Ti uses the defective TU102 chip left from the production of quadro. Full chip is $6K. Can't purposely gimp the chip to make the 2080Ti... well nvidia is shrinking it to 8/11nm double density right now for sure. So there is no reason to overstock big chip 102.

Apparently the mod thought as I did. So, yeah. You can’t just go attack a person personally because you don’t like the point they brought up that was directed at nobody. It should have been reported, not turned into a “I am butt hurt because someone badmouthed my company that I apparently live and breathe by” response.

The only mining on an RTX card I've ever heard of so far was when I asked our own @trog100 how his card did at it... I don't think anyone is rushing to grab these things for mining.

Depends on algorithms they perform worse than a 1080ti. Very few do they show any real improvement. For the same price you can grab xilinx products and destroy a gpu.
