Little teaser

Looks a bit too samey for me...

I was just reading an article that Borderlands 3 will have over one billion guns. Now obviously that will be a lot of guns that vary presumably with lots of randomly generated properties and surprises. There has never been a shortage of different guns in Borderlands but this is insane.

It will be set on Pandora but there will also be levels to explore on different worlds.

Gearbox has been working on the game for 5 years so maybe there will be a lot of content.

More details will be revealed on April 3.

Borderlands 3 looks like any other borderlands. Now this might be just the very right thing for the ones that were in love with the previous. And there is people like me who need something new, and this isn't it.

And since the devs need to pay whichever company gave the cardiographs for free in the making - the graphics looking exactly the same as Borderlands 1- it will destroy your computer. Hope this wont be the case, but lets face it not many devs can create something spectacular.

Sekiro, is one of those examples where for the first time in history game plays flawless on PC rather than on console. Everyone needs the same performance from Borderlands 3.

I'm really like really really excited. I have been a huge fan of borderlands throughout the games and i'm already excited to see the dlc characters (if there will be any) . But all in all i'm just excited. Too excited.

No Man's Sky had billions of stars, and we know how that played out... The RNG / loot part of it is fun but really, Borderlands has as many guns as it has types of weapons, which is likely just going to be the same old beaten-to-death set of pistol, assault rifle, LMG, submachine, a few projectile launchers and shotguns. With a myriad of fire modes of which half is unusable.

I mean really. You hunt for that tiny selection of weapons that actually IS useful in this game. The rest is fodder.

I wonder if this isn't an April fool with some of the specs... I mean a billion guns??! Jesus......

I really enjoyed playing the first and second game, never got close to finishing either, these games are bloody massive!!

Borderlands 3 Is A Six-Month Epic Store Exclusive On PC

So.. what's new?

Borderlands 2 had a billion guns also.

Don't change stuff for the sake of changing stuff. Most games become crappy because they add or change stupid stuff. People who play Borderlands 2 just want a shooter RPG with a good storyline and lots of loot, simple.

Swappin weapons!
Reloadin
Aaaaaaaaaiiiiiieeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't that Apex voice overs? :D
lol guy I remembered that cursed unique smg that talks in a psycho midget voice but I couldn't place the name

Woot they did add it finally, a gun with legs that shouts insults at the enemy! Hah. As for exclusivity, I'll wait for it so I can have 1, 2 and 3 in one place.

Its called Bane. Annoying little bugger.

It has been confined that Borderlands 3 is sponsored and optimized for AMD GPU. - at least I know I can play this. We will just have to wait and see if ti's gonna be good or not.

Some new screenshots of Borderlands 3 showcasing Planet Prometha:

I'm hoping Gearbox does a good job on this game. I really enjoyed Borderlands 1 and 2. The Pre-Sequel was alright but not as good as 1 and 2 imo.

Can't wait for this game, probably my most wanted game of this year other than DOOM Eternal.

Played BL1 for more than I would like to admit,BL 2 too but somewhat less and also Pre Sequel.

The only thing I'm a bit concerned about is the late endgame cause I'm planning to mainly solo play the game 'personal preference' like the previous ones and BL2 was quite unfriendly in that regard with some of the bosses.

Also curious about that so called AMD optimization since I have an AMD system.:)

First game I will pre order in a very long time but I honestly doubt that they can 'ruin' this game for me that badly. 'And no Epic store does not bother me at all'

BTW the billion gun thing comes from the way guns are created in BL,basically each gun has various parts like 'body/grip/mag/barrel/sight/accessory' and whenever a gun drops those parts are varied/picked from the existing/possible pool of parts.

Preordered (Along with Control and V:TM-B2) the super deluxe back when Epic had their weird sale on games that aren't even out yet. Played a ton of the first and second with my friends and we're happy to see that it's more of the same, it's the perfect formula imo.
The Diablo-style long campaign which you then replay on NG+ for better loot in my eyes beats anything Destiny-like with its short campaign and array of endgame activities.

Definitely going to buy this! 35 hours just for the main storyline is going to be a hell of a ride!

I've been playing BL2 for like a month now co-op with my best friend. DLC in BL2 is a lot of fun, I've yet to finish all the DLC. Currently playing Tiny Tina Assault on Dragon's Keep.

Tiny Tina was one of my favorite NPCs. The DLC Tiny Tina Assault on Dragon's Keep was the best of the DLCs imo. She's demented but she's funny.

Looks like the sales are pretty good so far according to Pitchford. He Tweeted this:

Reviews are mostly good to very good except for PCGamer rated it a 63/100. This is their summation:

"An endless font of bad jokes and cool guns in the series' most vapid story yet, Borderlands 3 skates by on watching numbers fly and goons explode."

The reviewer didn't get into new game plus because its shallow in content. And the rest is described as samey. Much like I had expected, actually, I find this a pretty credible summary... and totally agree replaying the campaign multiple times was not exactly a strong suit of the series.
