That happened quite frequently back then. There were many games on the NES, SNES, MasterSystem, Genesis/MegaDrive, PCEngine/TG16/Duo that had differences in OST. This continued on in the 32bit/64bit gen game systems. Because of how connected the world is today it doesn't happen as much, but once in a while a difference will pop up.

I have been listening a lot of cities skylines in game radio, in the games directory there are ogg files, so dragged them to foobar and has ever since enjoying it.

Marcin Przybyłowicz of Witcher 3 music composition fame also did music for Ancient Space, here's one that stood out titled "Pirates of the Black Zone" (jump to 40 seconds to get to the meat of it--has long intro):

It has a didgeridoo which is kind of surprising. Quite unique.

Well, it's not the originals, but as a fan of metal I owed it to myself to find this guy who makes covers that torture my ears, in a good way. A lot of the darker sounding tracks, including Dark Souls and Bloodborne covers are what really motivated me to get through Dark Souls III, I couldn't give up when I hear the guitar wail and cry in such a manner. (A shame I won't be able to replay the game in the same manner, slowly pacing through the world for the first time.)

If you like metal and games. You can't go wrong with this. I haven't found any other good covers from other people, maybe it's just his style that I prefer, or YouTube just doesn't feel like recommending anything for a while.

I can get so hyped up, I want to punch a tiger in the nuts. Music is such a beautiful thing, eh?
