Still haven't played RDR2, but started D2 Resurrected not that long ago and I hella agree with you. Though as a teen, I later just listened mp3s when playing it.

Every combat music in Heroes III kicks ass.

I think RGG should get their games nominated for soundtrack of the year, the background music are really good and the karaoke music game. I mean they get the VA to perform those.
