This is a thread for TPU's main website and forum-related issues, not for GPU database issues.

That aside, and since I'm already replying here, that's a little strange. I suggest posting the issue here (TPU's GPU Database Portal & Updates). The GPU database is maintained by @T4C Fantasy and issues related to it are usually posted there.

Some script kid tried to find sensitive URLs by guessing... like a few hundred a second .. overloaded the servers and got his IP banned automatically after a few seconds

I've noticed that the Android app no longer gives you the option to choose Forum, Home or another area that I forget for the moment.
It just goes straight into the TPU homepage.

Ah, good point. Is there an account age/usage benchmark applied? For example, a regular user who has been on the site for more than 6 months or so would be exempt?

The current version of the app will continue and show a webview with the mainsite. the old app's api will be retired at some point in the future

The navigation bar for attached images obscure a small portion of the image.

If using Firefox; There is an extension called "Disable HTML5 Autoplay". Install it and nothing will autoplay.

Correct, because they are not supported on many browsers either, upload the usual image types
