Not only earlier than ''peoples anticipated'' but earlier than what their marketing has been voluntarily misleading peoples to believe !
Being able to swap CPUs without having to invest into new mobos was a BIG selling argument for AMD , if i have to switch mobos every one or two CPU gens then i might aswell go for Intel , and on top of that as we can see Intel mobos get better treatment so yeah ........
