No more DVI ports on gpus?

Ok, there is a God, somehow I messed around with the display setting and go it to accept the 120 Hz, it never showed an option for 144 Hz, but I'm good, not going to get greedy.

This is what I get when I try and set it to 120 Hz it only goes up to the 120 Hz. It's 59 or nothing, as for as the highest refresh rate...

Fair enough. Though to be fair, 120hz is a more symmetrical refresh rate. The computer math works out a bit better at multiples of 30hz. To explain why would be a lengthy post. I have dual 144hz 1440p displays, but I opt for 120hz on each because of the compatibility with certain programs.
Also, I would still get a newer GPU and pass that 7770 along to another system.

I will hang with the 120 Hz for a while, it does seem to load the graphics faster, but I know I should still get into the 21 Century with my video card, and I have multiple other PC's I can stick this card in.

You're welcome, happy to help. The thing is, a newer GPU along with the W3680 we discussed in the other thread and you would have a set of systems that will last you a while.

So, is the W3680 just as good as the X5680? and will work on my Asus P6T Deluxe V2 board it's a 1366 platform.

It runs at the same stock speeds, it's just more overclockable because it has an unlocked multiplier. So it will potentially run much faster than an X5680.

Pretty sure you can use HDMI to dvi cable and work just fine.

Which would fall under the heading of "adapter" since you're turning an HDMI port into a DVI port the same as you would using a dongle.

Recently upgraded from a XL2411Z to get the full 144hz I used this
