Ok. So reflections at psycho equates to what? Is it like non rt but close to rt? And is it worth the performance drop?

Even then, add in 12fps and performance is still abysmal.

yeah with the system in my specs. I keep it updated.

EDIT:: its probably worth mentioned while we are on that, that I drive 3x 2k displays so my usage might actually be a little high because my baseline will be high.

My experience about 300-400 MB per desktop on 1080p. More if you have stuff running on it.

Why don't you force the game into exclusive fullscreen for better perf?

So on my sig rig I got ~45fps on high/ultra at 2560x1440p. No bugs or ctd's encountered and the car hasn't parked on any roofs.
Currently at work so no gaming now but can't wait to go back to NC!

I took 7 days off work 5 days vacancy + weekend, under of course a different pretext. I need to play as much as possible and make a YB video (which is gonna take me forever to edit)
Spoilers are everywhere and google feed news is giving reviews from different websites. Most of them by the title look not so good - in all my heart I simply don't see how this will ever be bad.

Cyberpunk 2077, simply can not and will not fail. It's not happening. Can never compare apple with oranges, and to this extend there is no such "apple" on the market. Something that in recent time may have come 10% close to this was Rage 2 or Far Cry New Dawn: good graphics, open world, shooter, npc with an engaging story that send you on "must do quests" - a skill tree and weapons to collect and upgrade. So this has been done before.
Go somewhere cuz an NPC said so, shoot some bad guys clear - clear the area - get more cutscene and npc dialog with possible choices that the player can select - repeat

But not like this. Not in this scenario, not with this level of voice acting and plot twists (which i'm sure will get) different skill tree, different story ramifications and weapons (gunplay).
This will be good, simply because we, the people who take gaming as a hobby have a thirst for quality content, for storytelling with decision making and action gameplay. Same reason why Mass Effect worked and worked wonderfully.

Cyberpunk 2077 will be good, because there is not enough content like this around, and we wait so long in order to get some.

In hindsight brace yourself for youtube videos from channels with a huge audience making 10 minutes video ONLY full of every single bug + glitch found with the title "Cyberpunk is broken" - worry not, because these people make videos similar for every major AAA game released.

Downloaded a 10GB update not long ago... Still cant play the game

and the sad thing about this is i gotta be up at 8.30am tomorrow so i dont have all night to spend playing the game when it finally goes live.

So far, not one crash and the game runs silky smooth at 45fps on my humble RX580 at high settings and a number of other graphic details turned off.
VRAM use is about 3-4GB and temp never goes over about 55c.
Anyway, I haven't got very far yet as I still have to finish the tutorial, but so far it's tantalising and certainly living up to the hype. In fact, I was being eaten alive by mosquitoes last night which was a great excuse for getting out of bed at 0345 to fire up the game again.

The same thing happened to everyone. The Game went live Worldwide after more than a year of pre orders so there must have been some obscene traffic on the servers.

Im in. Managing 30+ FPS relatively stable at 3440x1440. Dropping to 2560x1080 is a straight 20% FPS boost on top, but I'd rather tweak individual settings to keep sharpness and hopefully get averages of 40. Also... I stand corrected. Game looks pretty damn nice. Even on medium.

Playable on a 1080 then. Noice.

This setup seems to get closer to 40 FPS and good balance in IQ/perf while keeping native res. It also doesn't drop dramatically when you look in a mirror.

Note all Basic settings are disabled. What they consider Basic I apparently consider horrible to look at, so thats bonus? The Lens Flare is still up for debate... but might kill that too.

Same settings, but with AMD FidelityFX CAS at static scale of 85%. Achieves 50 FPS and is a keeper!

I even got 4 years younger, look!

Slaughtering a 4790K. Poor thing is at 90% a lot of the time. 85fps seems to be my CPU limit in some areas of the city, sometimes its much less, like 45fps while the GPU is being under utilized for those scenes.

Seen multiple bugs. One required to load a save because the game would go into slow motion whenever I looked at someone. Had one crash and the sent the report. While the game is rather rough at the moment nothing will speed up bug squashing like releasing it to the masses.
