Anybody left the Discord App running in the background then tried launching Cyberpunk? I found out yesterday every time it'll crash as soon as the main.exe tries to launch. Closing down Discord stops the instant crash.

Or men, really. Everyone is FUBAR in this game, including V.

It even echoes in the final sequences of the game. No matter what you choose, you're fucked. I seriously wonder how disconnected you have to be to write an article like the above, if you've actually played the game without your eyes and ears closed.

I think its just trolling, much like the vast majority of people riding that diversity and inclusiveness wave. Yes, its something we should look at, but NO, it doesn't need to be subject of the day and it doesn't need to be reflected in works of art or creativity. That's just commercial hypocrisy, and everyone is a brand nowadays, or at least, in the Instagram-twitter reality they think they are.

Its about time we kill that whole nonsense with fire.

Maybe it's related to a change in Windows 10 21H1. I know @Knoxx29 had a couple of issues with RivaTuner stats overlay, and one of the CoD games on launch. He later told me uninstalling the KB fixed the two issues he was having.The only way I can go back now is a clean install.
You probably want to wait for KB4598291 to come through Windows Update when it's ready.

Oh goody, my first ESD to decrypt on the 5800x... this should be fast It is fast, even on my 3800X @4,275 MHz it zipped along so quickly I was surprised. The load on all the cores had me watching Task Manager.

Is it just me, or is Cyberpunk running much better and smoother since the 1.11 Patch? My 1080p performance on my Vega 64 at stock speeds has gone from 45-55 fps to a constant solid 60 fps at medium settings. Even the frame-rate downward spikes seem to have reduced a lot.

I think that has something to do with the Cyber Engine Tweaks mod. I have that same issue since I loaded that mod in, and not before. The earliest versions of that mod which I used up to Cyberpunk patch 1.04 did not seem to have this problem. But I think the patch 1.05 compatible versions introduced this issue. Removing this mod gets rid of that issue for me at least, which is why I feel that mod is responsible.

@biffzinker the cat is part of an easteregg the internet has not yet figured out.
Related to the fact that the population of animals are almost gone completely (hint first main quest with Jacky) and the conversation with the Japanese mafia guys, and also the fact that there are no animals anywhere or birds in the outside area of the city or inside. Also when you go out to eat with Jacky and the samurai dude (the main story) the samurai dude says that it does not taste like meat or food more like plastic. They are definitely making something on that barbecue but more like animals grown in farms etc.

The pollution is huge and has killed everything.
The cat appears in key places around the map you can even feed it outside V's apartment and appears when talking in the main quest with the samurai dude.

That is a Sphynx cat - These felines are actually considered to be somewhat mystical. In Russian folklore culture, the Sphinx cat has long since been viewed as a symbol of good fortune and the favorite choice for many Russian royalty members. Because of their widespread popularity in the royal realm, these felines are thought to be a symbol of status and good wealth.
Also, the sphynx is a winged female monster in Greek mythology having a woman's head and a lion's body and noted for killing anyone unable to answer its riddle

It forms a triangle. With V - Johny - and the cat.
I believe Takemura, even tho that he is the one that reacts to the cat and appreciates the animal, is not to be taken in the riddle.

Johny's spirit with V's personality and the cat are somehow combined.

The one thing done amazingly in 2077, is the visual detail. Be it random alien signs, the interiors of cars, or just the design of many of the levels.... THOSE guys got their work done, and done well

Oh and i've got that takamura bug, he never called on 1.06 and its been stuck there on 1.1 - i'm not rolling back hours and hours, so i'll just screw around until they retroactively fix it

Dunno about you guys, but the game is the buggiest it's been for me since the last two patches. General instability, more crashes. But I'm also noticing that the save/load menus often lag before finally calling the index of saves... actually extremely obnoxious, as I do savescum for drops (seriously just make them not stupid - if I gotta savescum to make a one or two time drop worth a damn, maybe the RNG actually isn't doing anything.) I sometimes have to wait 30 seconds to a minute before the save menu actually loads in - it's just a blank red backdrop with a title till then.

I've also got a weird one, not sure if I somehow screwed something or not. Not sure how I would, but this game does give you opportunities to fuck yourself like that. But whatever happened, I came out of Act I and the quest Human Nature just NEVER triggered. The one where you try to get your car but it gets wrecked. So no calling vehicle, no Delamain, nunna dat. I played for about an hour before I realized. I guess better 1 hour than 20...

Somebody was talking about that unofficial rule with programming... something about fixing underlying problems inderectly fixes more superficial one. Is there an inverse version where fixing a deeper issue actually breaks more superficial things?

After the last two patches it seems sensitive to a unstable overclock.

Last night I had a complete system crash when alt-tabbing out of the game to check an open browser tab. The PC literally rebooted without warning but didn't display the same behaviour when I tried the same action a little later.
Other than that, it's been bug-free on the whole and performance is silky smooth, not to mention load times which are faster than most games.

Birds fell victim to another corporate plot claiming they carried and spread a virus thus were eradicated but years later after the synthetic meat industry was established it was discovered that bird meat was fine. (Source: Placide at the start of the Grand Imperial Mall missions). These examples show that not all animals are not goine but are far removed from society, and the main cause being corporate exploitation, pollution sometimes being a byproduct of that. Heck *minor spoiler* if Nomad life path is chosen, jackie ends up stealing Yorinobu's pet Iguana, and it's not present in his penthouse when going to steal the relic.

Why do you guys put yourselves through this at this point I do wonder. Most of you did finish the main story arc right? Just revisit this in a year or so when the content updates are said and done, it'll likely be a whole new game.
