1. MSRP of the 2060 is $400 USD.
2. You aren't going to get it at the price regardless
3. $350 is not budget

"RTX2060 is the 5th most popular GPU on Steam with 5% of steam users"

Incorrect, it sits at 3.51%, far less than half the 1060.

"DLSS is the best feature that any FineWine lover could wish for, impressive performance uplift in current day AAA games."

Precisely, "wish for" because it's likely not in the games you are playing.

"In fact if you have the 2060 in an HTPC, you can enjoy games at 4K with medium settings and DLSS Performance mode (well maybe low settings in CP2077). I have transitioned to using 4K 120hz OLED TV for my main PC as well."

DLSS performance mode does cause a degradation is visual quality. So yeah, you can achieve the same with most TV's built in upscaling regardless of DLSS. The difference is that LG's and Samsung's AI upscaling built into their new models aren't limited to a handful of games. I don't know a single person that would purposefully build a HTPC to only play DLSS games. That's just pandering to find a reason to use a feature that's hardly in any games.

"Yes I know that you can actively avoid DLSS games and still have fun, but the opposite is also true, you can look for good games with DLSS support and enjoy them even more when you have DLSS capable hardware, I have played over 10 good games with DLSS already (Control, Crysis Remastered, CP2077, Death Stranding, F1 2020, Ghostrunner, Mech V, Mount&Blade 2, Nioh 2, The Medium, WD Legion)"

Or I can just continue to do what I do and buy games that I think will be fun. That's what gaming is about, maybe you should try it instead of trying to justify a purchase. If a game I play just so happens to have DLSS, that's great (although so far that's only 1). If not, I could not care less.

Do your research better because you are using false information to argue there

1. 2060 MSRP has always been 350usd
2. I got one for 300usd in Jan 2021
3. Budget is whatever the amount you are willing to spend.
4. 2060 is 5.04% in Steam Mar 2021, actually the 2060 is the 4th most popular GPU on Steam and the most popular RTX GPU.
5. I have never seen such mis-informed user, TV upscaling tech in games , yeah right.
6. I can play whatever games I choose to do, whether they have DLSS or not, DLSS just make the gaming experience better because I can use higher graphical settings (like RTX)
7. Like I said I have played over 10 highly rated games with DLSS already, if you can't find any DLSS games to play that's solely on you since you are actively avoid them anyways. I don't have to look for DLSS game specifically because I only play 8/10 or above games and there are plenty of DLSS games that are rated 8/10 and above.
8. DLSS is the future whether you don't like it now, saying so little games use DLSS is like horse riders mocking Karl Benz for making slow car in the beginning  .

Benchmark Scores What's a "benchmark"?
As a 1080 Ti owner, the only game I've played that had DLSS support was CP2077 and even then I enabled AMD CAS with resolution scaling enabled. Given the pathetic number of games that have gained support since DLSS has launched AMD users are not missing a single thing. You are waiting on AMD's solution just like we are still waiting for DLSS to be integrated into a reasonable amount of games. As it is right now, neither company has a solution that's even worth mentioning due to the tiny number of games that support the feature.
The way I see it, there is basically one game really requiring DLSS right now and that's Cyberpunk 2077. I tried playing it on a 1080ti and the rasterized scaling really takes away from the game's aesthetics. And, since I have a 3840x2160 screen, no amount lowering the details made the game go above 30fps which was a really bad experience. Even the 3080 can't run this game on any reasonable settings without DLSS, so for me personally this particular technology being absent from AMD hardware made the buying decision easy. DLSS is not available in many games because not many games really need it.
Unity seems to be running very well even on older hardware, but wider adoption is wider adoption, hard to complain about that.

Not sure how Unity will handle this even more so in very high details as it's a power hog of a game engine that don't run all that well compared to others.

Benchmark Scores 3050 scores good 15-20% lower than average, despite ASUS's claims that it has uber cooling.
more easily enable
Hard to be against doing something "more easily".
And good to know it was already "easily".
I just wonder, why do we have a handful of games using that , if it can be used "easily"
As if it wasn't "easily" at all, ya know. :D

The above....
Because that is how that worked with, say, FreeSync vs GSync... :D

A glorified TAA upscaler sprinkled with buzzwords.
AMD has nice upscalers (checkerboard to begin with), now it just needs to roll out version sprinkled with buzzwords.

Without a good reason (as in money changing hands), no small/indie developer will think about putting in the work to integrate DLSS or any future (but not existing for now) competitor from AMD into their game as they will much prefer enhancing the actual game design aspects in the limited time they have. Having it somewhat "natively" supported by the game engine is a huge development and Unity is a great choice, if they can provide a "key-turn" solution.
Most of FidelityFX is low effort.
At least judging by a long list of games using it.

CAS at 80% static resolution scale worked pretty good for me.

Either A) you are lying B) You got extremely lucky and are now trying to pass that off as if anyone else can get that price. In reality the 2060 was averaging twice your quoted price used. Talk about spreading BS, is that self projection I sense?

3. Budget is whatever the amount you are willing to spend.

No, you are delusional.

4. 2060 is 5.04% in Steam Mar 2021, actually the 2060 is the 4th most popular GPU on Steam and the most popular RTX GPU.

Wow, so the TOP RTX GPU has a measly 5.04% marketshare, half that of a GPU over 2 gens old. Thanks for supporting my point that RTX GPUs are both overpriced and a tiny fraction of the market
5. I have never seen such mis-informed user, TV upscaling tech in games , yeah right.

Samsung and LG certainly support it with their mid and high end offerings and even recommend it with their 8K models.
6. I can play whatever games I choose to do, whether they have DLSS or not, DLSS just make the gaming experience better because I can use higher graphical settings (like RTX)

Good, then stop pestering me because I do the same.

"I don't have to look for DLSS game specifically"

Guy, you've played over half of all DLSS games. Who are you trying to fool. And didn't you just get done saying you don't play games based on DLSS on now you are accusing me of not playing enough DLSS titles? You are 100% a hypocrite.

8. DLSS is the future whether you don't like it now, saying so little games use DLSS is like horse riders mocking Karl Benz for making slow car in the beginning  .

38 games in total support DLSS (as I linked earlier). I'm not saying it, I'm pointing out a fact. A fact you can't seem to accept. DLSS itself the future? The tech behind it likely is but a solution strapped soley to Nvidia usually don't last.

Look at me now using a 144 Hz freesync monitor with my Nvidia GPU. I'm such a dumbass for not spending that extra $200 and getting the G-Sync version. Instead of being free to choose whichever GPU I want, I could instead be forced to buy Nvidia. Praise be Jensen. :respect:

It's not really that bad. But it's marketed to beginerers and low development effort users. They reap what they sow when those types make a "my first video game."

Pardon my ignorance, but what is CAS? Do you mean contrast adaptive sharpening? I can only find AMD branded sources, so not very trustworthy ones.

A. Do you know the difference between RTX 2060 and RTX 2060 Super? doesn't look like you do :kookoo:

B. Do you know the difference between MSRP and market price?

C. Sure quote the market price of 2060 now, after it has been selling for 350usd and below for 2.5 years. Just so you know used RX580 are being sold for over 400$ (MSRP was 229$), are you living under a rock and not know about the ongoing mining craze? every GPU is inflated right now. Am I lucky for buying the 2060 at 300usd back in Jan 2021? nope, 3060Ti were sold for 500usd back in Jan 2021. Although the RTX2060 was for a friend's mini-ITX build, I bought the Asus TUF 3090 OC for 1800usd in Dec 2020, now it's 3000usd.

D. Maybe ask to borrow someone's RTX card just so you can experience CP2077 with DLSS, then you can see for yourself how superior DLSS is to Static FX at 80%. Right now you are just talking like a stubborn old man when you haven't seen DLSS in action :D.

E. All you are seeing is the past, only 38 games support DLSS? sure I wonder how Tesla become the highest valued car maker even though they only have 0.8% marketshare. It's all about the future prospect old man.
