Honestly pisses me off gamedevs that play favorites, just add both fsr and dlss, do not pick for them what they wanna use, im just glad i can finally use amd relive the way i could never use shadowplay now.
Same here, don't really care which one is better as long as everybody can use either one or the other if needed. For the first time in like ever I watched CDPR's twitch stream, hoping they would announce FSR and knowing how some reported it to be very easy to implement. Was annoyed and also amused after watching, free DLC's, a cat and 2 shirts

My 6800XT breezes through the game at Ultra 3440x1440, but goes below the 50 FPS minimum of my Freesync, FSR would keep it above with RT on, hence why I want it.

Its kinda hilarious either way considering cyberpunk is on consoles to they would benefit of FSR being added as well.

Yes it does, just don't buy one. Trash value for what it is.
Maybe but what isn't "trash value" at the moment. Get what you can get if you need something now.

Agreed but obviously CDPR needs Nvidia on side otherwise it would have happened already.

In todays GPU market any card is uber trash value, the 6600XT at MSRP keeping in mind all other prices is decent, but in a normal market its price would be an insulting bad joke to say it nicely.

I am still not sure if CDPR does not add FSR because of Nvidia or just because they don't care or are a bit incompetent, anyone of those can be possible.
One thing that is clear though, if you are a company that went from being the shining knight to being the evil witch, you can not pass up such an opportunity to add a quick fix for a huge portion of your potential player base. Its just bad business not adding FSR at this point in time.

And I am not saying this just because I have a 6800XT that plays the game just fine at 3440x1440 Ultra no RT (75 FPS avg), I can get what people with lower performing cards would feel if they would like to enjoy the game but cant and knowing that there is an easy fix out there that could improve things, but the company does not give a rats ass to offer it to them....

FSR would be great honestly along with HDR @ 5120x1440 with cyberpunk on my 6900 XT i get like 50 fps at this res everything maxed out.

You can use something called Magpie to force fsr onto cyberpunk in a janky way. But the performance hit of FSR on old Nvidia cards not designed for it make it not worth it. I tried on an older gtx 1060 3gb. Gained 10 fps for running at a lower resolution and then lost 8 fps of that for running FSR. It improved the image but not back to native. And only gained 2 fps.

Cyberpunk has Fidelity FX build in so I don't think Nvidia is restricting them hard.

As said before, I am using an app on Steam called Lossless upscaling, with pretty good performance results upscaling from 2648x1108 (which for my native resolution would be the equivalent starting point of FSR Ultra) to 3440x1440 which gives me around 28% extra frames at basically identical quality, so from 42 FPS to 58 FPS with Ultra and RT Reflections on.

The only drawback is that is has to run in windowed mode, and HDR does not really work in windowed mode with this game.

Sounds exactly like how Magpie works. Windowed mode only. On a powerful gpu at higher resolutions it's more beneficial, but with slower cards it's hardly worth it. I got a 6600xt and it's definitely better at handling it. But since I'm playing on a 1080p monitor I just don't bother, and would rather sacrifice a few frames for native. I'd imagine that card could truly benefit a lot though, since the lower internal resolution you run, the better it performs.

Yeah, at 1080p the 6600XT is more than enough, as is my 6800XT more than enough for me, but in certain scenarios both would benefit from FSR, like games with RT that break the cards in half
Not that there is a lot of games where turning on RT is really worth it (CP 2077 is one of them), but its still nice to have the option.

Welcome to the club another 6900XT Liquid Devil Ultimate owner. :toast:
I hope you will enjoy your new card.:D
I own the same one but I changed the bios to XTXH-LC reference card one. I had to open the card and flash it with ch341a programmer. :D
My Devil could not OC memory at all before but after bios change it is working at 2320MHz.

My clock speed for GPU is not going higher than 2785MHz.
If you are into OCing and benchmarking then we will see if you are one of the lucky ones with a card hitting higher than 2800MHz on Time Spy.

I have also replaced the standard thermal paste with Liquid Metal.
Without LM my card was hitting 95°C under OC higher than 2700MHz. Now temperatures remain below 80°C.

My Time Spy Graphic score is ~24400.
People at HARDWARELUXX are able to hit 25K or higher but under special benchmarking conditions like unstable single run setting or things like putting radiators into Ice bucket.
My setting of 2585MHz min and 2785MHz max at 1108mV is more a stable setting which could be used on daily basis.
Only thing is I have power targets set very high using MPT to 450A TDC and 500W core GPU power. :twitch:

It seems good cooling with loop temperatures in range of 20°C gives extra 200-300 points in Time Spy.
My normal water cooling loop has about 30°C at around 22°C room temperature.

After my vacation, I will see if I should invest into Mo-Ra. :D
This thing seems to help a lot for getting good loop temperatures and at same time fans not running at very high speed.

To be fair, cooling wise I already have 2x 480mm x 60mm EK Radiators and room for another 2x 360x60mm Radiators if I need it. :D

What type of case do you use?
That is amazing that you have that much space. :D
My Cosmos c700p has 1x120mm, 1x240mm and 1x360mm rads inside.
Theoretical I can fit additional 1x240mm at bottom but the space is tight due all cables coming out of PSU.

Oh yes, I know it as I was interested in it but as you said it is quite a monster and need a bit more space than mine.

I want to wish you all in this club a nice time over the next three weeks.
I will leave in the morning for 3 weeks to India.
If my special roaming card works as planned then I will visit here time to time.

You all have fun with your RDNA2 cards. My 6900XTU will have a break from my benchmark torturing. He will be happy to get a break.
The other 6800XT that is in my son's computer will continue serving him with games while I am away. :D
Due to current COVID situation, it's not easy to go as family so I will go alone to visit my parents.

He will be happy to get a break.
The other 6800XT that is in my son's computer will continue serving him with games while I am away. :D
Due to current COVID situation, it's not easy to go as family so I will go alone to visit my parents.
:D
Enjoy your vacation. And keep safe.

Yup, safe trip and be careful, you can get only one Turbogear, but a Turbogear can get 10 Navi20 cards :D

Anyone else have Samsung G9 oddyssey ? i wen t from 2 to 1 dead pixel now, however yesterday while gaming screen went black menu of my screen became unresponsive had to unplug display port cable from my PC and reseat it to get image again, no gpu driver crash either as if the screen just tilted, im very stressed, cos store wont replace unit another time except refund me and i just want a proper Samsung G9 unit, and Samsung offes no warranty and hides behind every webshop telling you they should replace it even tho its their responsibility, if had 2 year long fight about warranty before 10 years ago ending up with tinnitus and a refund, how are they allowed to do this is not oke, its not like their is another screen that is ultrawide + 240hz so i really did not even have a choice.

that's how Samsungs G7 and G9 works.
a broken pre alpha monitor with more bugs than features.
black screens, crashes, slow restarts, flickering...
my G7 has the same issues.

Odd even my first g9 that i had used for 2 weeks did not go black suddenly out of random going tilt.

I got my RX 6600 XT about a week ago. I got to play around with it this weekend, and made a few comparison clips with the "old" GTX 1070 Ti.
I still have not decided if to keep the 6600 XT (since i got it close to MSRP) but i'm inclined to keep it. I have a few days to make up my mind.
This card handles 1440p really good if you get it close to MSRP. Don't know why AMD marketed it like a 1080p card, maybe just to differencied it from RX 6700 XT.
