Last time I saw Swede with SD card news was about that Samsung PRO Plus card capable of 160/120RW.

Did a preorder on Amazon.de, should have been there in October... it is still MIA in January, got a refund.

Those things end up somewhere who knows where. Paper launches?

It certainly seems like shortages are taking their toll on camera industry. Too many delays and long queues along with scalping are making it difficult to get anything at reasonable price and timeframe(I had ordered Canon batteries 2 months back and still no delivery of those).

There are some decent 3rd party makers from whom I generally get batteries but unfortunately none of them are making LP-E17 sized batteries so I am stuck with Canon original ones. for Sony I would recommend giving Nitecore batteries(they have LP-E6 sized batteries and they work well for my needs) a try(granted you have a local shop who can help you dealing with RMA in case of a DOA).

Yes, I have nitecore too and an external dual charger from them too, very handy on trips(when we had those really). Feeding that charger from power bank and rotating the batteries around like ammo. For the price, I really can't argue.

I've ordered some 3d party batteries and took apart them to change cells to mine taken from mobile phones, as I have them like dirt. At least I know those cells are good.
