Just secure the card firmly to the case with screws and you shouldn't have problems. If you move your PC around, you might want to check that it's seated properly after that.Yes it is The GPU come out of another PC with no trouble I got ir in my latest PC. The reason i tried to get it out was for the third Sata cablal . if i had smaller hands i might have been able to get it in in the socket.
With the card coming out i was able to do .It is in solid now.
So i want have trouble using it without it?.There was no way of geting it out anyway.
Otherwise it's fine without that (sometimes annoying) locking mechanism
