True. Let's be fair, if a citation of a dev complaining of reaching the limits of the Switch hardware had been presented, that argument would have plausibility. Without a quote though, it's just some guy saying something about how he feels, which is as we both said, subjective opinion.

Just because its sold doesnt mean its getting serious dev core games from 3rd parties, I mean the PS2 and XB got plenty of support, what about the Wii/U, DS/3DS?Which version of the Shield? The first one had a Tegra3 SOC. The NS has a slightly customized version of the TegraX1.
With the exception of the WiiU, every one of the systems you just named are among the top selling systems of all time. Even the GameCube closely matched the OG XBox.

aktpu did not quote you and therefore the context of my response was directed exclusively at their comment. I wasn't responding to you at all, so you taking issue with my comment was not needed. You're right though, water under the bridge.
However, this I'm going to directly respond too: Silliness. The Switch is an excllent piece of hardware. It's specs are STILL reasonable and provide for an excellent gaming experience which is why it has remained popular with gamers. It's starting to get a bit dated which is why Nintendo is working on a new version. However, they're in no hurry because they don't need to be. Gaming is not all about hardware specs like it once was because hardware has become so powerful that making amazing games no longer needs top-of-the-line, bleeding edge hardware.
So any upgrading Nintendo offers with a new version of hardware will take the already excellent experience to a new level.
I owned a Genesis and 32X, then a Dreamcast, which if the 32X had better Support would have thrived. Saturn damaged Service Games.
The Dreamcast was Superb, could of evolved if they used the naomi pcb and included a firmware update to make the GDRom into a DVDRom.
It used a Hitachi SuperH with a PowerVR/Imagination Technologies Kyro GPU. Pretty bad ass for 98-2000 Hardware. Just too bad Kyro (XFX/Pine) didn't flourish to compete with ATi and nvidia then.
I'd really like to see a PowerVR/Imagination Technologies discreet PC GPU to put the rest on notice.
