Yes, for anything on my second router
(Telstra modem/router combo -> google home mesh wifi)

It seems a very specific bug to my network, just that i didnt know that when i began posting

Why not put the source links in the news items on the frontpage and in the forum news items?

Instead of directing back to the front page, just use the correct source links on both so there's no need to going back and forth.

The source links for news posts are in a different database that the forum doesn't have access to

Shouldn't matter, when typing up a news item, these links need to be typed/copied in anyway, it should be easy to show the original source links on the frontpage and as well in the forum news.

So instead of creating links to the frontpage just copy/paste the original source links, so there's no need to go back and forth from forum to frontpage etc.

I'm sure there should be a way to replace the "Source" links that points to the frontpage with the original source links in forum news items.

If nothing else a simply note of the source in the headline
We see generic starting lines all the time no matter which manufacture the product is they are always the leaders in this area even when most have never heard of them before

Bottom line it would be nice to see clearly where these "rumors" are coming from up front.

TPUs current feature ad can be very confusing when it's not showing the side panels (personally i've just zoomed in to hide those since I find those quite obnoxious, but maybe some poor guy's still stuck on 720p, or something)

Admittedly thats probably more on the advertisers (in this case: EVGAs) responsibility, but yeah. Just wanted to point it out.

For some reason some people get really hung up when it’s an editorial rather than straight news, as if it’s somehow inferior and level it as an accusation at the writer. They have no idea of the thought and analysis that goes into it. So stupid.

Personally, I appreciate these types of articles and read them regardless of what website they appear on or what subject they’re about as they can give valuable insights into current news. In short, don’t let the naysayers put TPU writers off writing them.

i can see your point, but i also do believe that this is at least pertinent to TPU asw, since bad/useless ads kinda make the look bad.
admittedly, its probably a minor issue, but an issue nonetheless.

shoutout to evga for actually caring & fixing the issue in a timely fashion tho!
