Funny you should say that a have heard pops like that before, and I did get one yesterday. And had it at other times.

Unfortunately, I have had bug problems here for some time, and when it was recently really hot I had the fan on, and every so often I heard a pop from that. It must have been one of those nasty bugs getting zapped
I am waiting for the adapter to use with my Dell PSU to see if there has been no damage to the motherboard.

The HP mt workstations must be the only make where you have to do a hack job to get a normal PSU in it.

It,s a good job I don,t need a more a more beefier PSU than the 400w one it came with, although it would be nice if I could.
I understand that some of the older HP modal workstations came with a 600w one
I know it won't fit in there,i just want to check to see if it has done any damage to other stuff in the PC.Latest news i will be getting my addapter and fuses late .because the Postal service is on strike here in the UK.Along with Train Drivers and others In one day stopages.It could turn in to a genral strike.The UK is in a bloody mess.
