I really wish they did a proper driver already for windows 11 22h2 Microsoft released a new driver again i know their opengl driver is stable for me, but the AMD control panel does not work unless i reinstall the entire system, because it refuses to install whole driver, another thing atleast for previous Microsoft drivers do not support ray tracing at all whatsoever which is annoying, i run with ray tracing on max at 3840x1600 in wow and render resolution at 77% with FSR 1.0 enabled
Also the 22.5.1 installer and i think 22.6.1 as well as well as 22.5.2 if you use AMD clean up tool then install these on 22h2 and you reboot all hardware drops out
Network wifi usb all your storage except for windows storage it all drops out as if you mainboard just given you the middle finger exclusively happens on 22h2 only however, i do not remember if 22.7.1 and up did this as well since they are technically drivers for 22h2 but those aren't stable.

If you haven't already done so I'd suggest you update your BIOS to Version 4403 AGESA 1207 there's several fixes that may alleviate some if not all your problems with Windows 11 22H2

Its only a problem if you use PBO even with default settings EDC will limit vcore past default its bassicly non functional which is not an issue with 1203c, it even effects stability.

I think you do not understand what edc bug is, it limits it to no higher then default aka stock you have bassicly no PBO, the real solution is to not upgrade past 1203c

Yep, ever since the OpenGL/CL rewrite these GPUs will occasionally crash in some conditions. Specifically, I found that having a fullscreen OpenGL game in one monitor and a fullscreen video on another will cause a crash within a couple hours most of the time.

Not quite: EDC bug limits CPU core voltage to no more than 1.4v nominal. This severely limits ST boosting since Zen will happily ask for 1.5v for peak SC clocks.

The solution is to either use below 140A EDC (bug will not occur and CPU asks for up to 1.5v), or as you say, using an AGESA before 1.2.0.4. Preferably 1.2.0.0 - 1.2.0.3

Nah its not stable i can speed run black screens even on 22.9.1 if configured the same as i have on 22.5.1 that is stable.

I still have the feeling you and a couple of people more complains about every driver that gets released no matter if it's beta or whql.

Why don't you use the first driver release ever for the 6000 series cards and keep it there?

If your GPU is oced or uved the newer driver could be less CPU bottlenecked and thus pushing more the GPU and causing the oc to not be as stable as previously. Just a thought.

Thats not the issue hardware acceleration is broken in browsers and other apps probably just hardware accelerated video decoding as many websites like YouTube Imgur Reddit have a lot of videos playing, but also video call software etc, 22.9.1 does state there 1 issue with videos being choppy but nothing about stability it self yet.

22.5.2 and up all have issues
and on Radeon subreddit you often have people report blackscreens and being told to go back 22.5.1 which always solves the issue for them.

Hope AMD is not gonna decide to give up getting dx11 and opengl improvements stable, but i would like a stable driver over performance uplift that only makes my gpu trip over it's own feet.
downclocking gpu does not resolve blackscreens for me.
The only thing that may help that if not really tested yet is not using 2e screen it seems dual screen setup with differences in refresh rates having a listed issue for 22.10.1

I've been very lucky not to experience black screens related to hardware acceleration with my 6600XT. Although I've had a weird issue with screen flicker in certain games in certain situations with 22.5.1, which was greatly diminished with later versions. Here's hoping all major issues get resolved with 22.10.2 as they've noted in their driver changelog for 22.10.1

The black screen is tiring and takes a lot of work to troubleshoot even for AMD because not 2 systems are the same they are built with different parts and be aware that @Kabouter Plop always complains with others that runs a RX 6900/6950 XT and they are mostly OC'ed and watercooled with a block not a AIB solution.

I haven't personally had any black screens with my current 1440p monitor the last I had was with my 4K screen and Nvidia G-Sync so Asus replaced it.

So far my RX 6800 XT Red Devil runs like a dream with Radeon Chill because electricity prices suxx so I am down to about 150-180W in Saints Row Reboot and it's fine no lag, hiccups or anything even running up to 90fps with Radeon Chill on and the weird 60fps default that can happen has also gone away.

May have found the source of my blackscreens but i am not exactly 100% sure yet on what could be the problem, its whatsapp for sure but it may be a combination of having a logitech brio + broken whatsapp that is triggering it, so this may explain why some users have no problems, its a 4k webcam i discovered the problems around the time i just got new webcam and upgraded to 22.7.1 i got my webcam on 13 juli 22.7.1 came out late juli i believe, i could've sworn i remember 22.6.1 being stable as well but then confirmed it to be unstable back when it originally released i had no blackscreens.
