Fps drops even after rebuilding whole system

I have been struggling with small fps drops/stuttering for quite a while now in pretty much every single game and have also rebuild pc completely while trying to figure out what is the cause.
Have reinstalled drivers and windows, switched to new SSD, new gpu, mb, cpu and no help from that, also scanned pc with antivirus multiple times.
at this point im completely out of ideas so any help is appreciated
Also have done:
disabled ingame overlays
tested all different graphics settings from ultra to low
set power settings to performance
toyed around with nvidia control panel settings

Notes about the fps drops there are 2 types:
1st when map/new area/assets are loaded
2nd randomly while gaming (fps monitor only shows small fps drops but it feels larger than that)
3rd also weird lag when hitting performance tab in task manager + clicking around in nvidia control panel

one more edit note: happens on games installed on different hard drives as well

Bench marks return no errors + show good performance but yet big fps drops in those as well
cant see anything weird in perfomance tab in task manager (everything looks correct there=
temps are fine

CPU 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K 3.61 GHz
Installed RAM 64,0 Gt (63,7 Gt available)
GPU Nvidia geforce RTX 3080 (problems happened also with 1080)
PSU Corsair RM 1000x
Samsung SSD 980 pro 2TB
Motherboard: ASUS TUF GAMING Z690-Plus WIFI D4

So if anyone is able to help it would be appreciated

Thanks

im no expert but i suspect it has something to do with your bios...
its not that you didnt touch anything in bios but you pulled out and plugged back in the parts ...
the bios think its new device or something and thus some of the settings might be out of place?

Run MSI Util v3 (see below) as an admin and check any/all of the boxes that have msi listed under supported modes then hit apply in the top right and shut down then restart, that will help with latency

Also - Search and Open Exploit Protection
Under System Settings, Control Flow Guard set it to Off by Default and Restart your computer

Performance sometimes drops according to what happens in the game.

Try to update the BIOS to the latest version and rest the configuration to optimized settings.

In Windows, search for power management and set it to high performance.

Unplug all monitors but one and play your games.

If you still have drops that you suspect is unusual, try to film it so we could idenity that it is a real problem.

How old is your power supply? Is the fan working at full speed while gaming? What about other fans? everything working?

Try disabling your audio driver and running a game. Your audio driver results look absolutely terrible on your screenshot (HDAudBus.sys)

Might be something in your sound setup spazzing out there.

For the drops the problem is it happens in every single game and without clear reason/trigger.
ill update the bios today
high performance has been on
happens with 1 monitor just the same as well
powersupply was swapped to current one 2 years ago
no fans are not going full speed when gaming due the system not heating too much, but fans are working fine and everything else should be working as well

The red bar is for Highest measured interrupt to process latency, HDAudBus is the bar below that.

@Hutter LatencyMon has shown that something is definitely amiss, but I'm unsure what exactly from the logs. As others stated, best bet is to update BIOS and retest with LatencyMon running for a longer period.

yes indeed will definately do the bios update and pray

So did some poking around today.
updated bios via windows update (not the very latest driver but like second newest one did not dare to install the newest because no rollback option)
and unplugged front panel usb 3 from mb
these helped a bit with the issues while gaming, but latencyMon still showing issues

Next im thinking reinstalling windows again

Could you possibly give me some tips how to disable said driver? also weirdly enough latencymon seems to show different process having issues between running it

was unable to do long gaming session today but will do one tomorrow so i can post what latencymon shows during that + running full virus scan overnight just incase

Go to your motherboards support page and download the bios manually, read the manual on how to get into bios and flash the new version from there

Any progress @Hutter ? If a BIOS update doesn't resolve your issue I'd try the suggestion in post #10 with MSI Util v3. As someone who experienced stutters because of buggy network drivers I know it can be a pain to resolve.

I'm guessing it's either your BIOS or your RAM. Ensure XMP is on, and give the RAM an extra 0.05V in the bios advanced.

Also ensure you update the BIOS to latest available first, as updating the BIOS will reset all of the settings.

Unless it's a temperature thing, I doubt it's something to do with any other part of the system.

No problem, there's no need to apologize. I'm very curious what would be the cause of your problems, which is why I bumped the thread.

In the past when I have had similar issues, it generally has come down to a driver issue and/or a setting in the BIOS.

Your motherboard had a BIOS update posted 6 days ago. There are also some other updates available. I would start with that. TUF GAMING Z690-PLUS WIFI D4 | Motherboards | ASUS Gloabl

I would also try the Intel® Driver & Support Assistant

I have had decent success with this on my laptops in the past. Make sure your motherboard and drivers are current.
