Getting ripped off is a choice in the case of scalped product but its a given with theft.
Entitlement is the basis for saying these are the same things. If people pay a price product gets sold at said price. Simple market.
Again, this is coming purely form the defense of "im not against people trying to make a buck" thats all they said, no if's but's or any borders, as long as people are trying to make a buck, they are not against it.
Theft is also people trying to make a buck.
I would also say that its hard calling it a choice when they literally cannot buy the card anymore because its out of stock because scalper's bots bought it all before any human could.....so if you NEED that card and was waiting for it for your job....is it really a choice? they took away that choice by bot-buying up the entire inventory.
But whatever, pointless debate that just keeps going in circles im sure, agree to disagree I guess.
There I was saying "scalpers are here to stay" just week ago and people were saying "whatcha talking bout, mining is over". Well, here we are...
Well we still have to see if it actually pays off, lot less incentive to buy an already expensive product at even more inflated prices when you cant make some of that back via mining.
