I sold my 2080Ti (quite unexpectedly) and I’m looking for a replacement. I’ve never spent more than 700 on a gpu and I wanted to keep as principle to be under that in general. Practically I don’t know if that’s possible anymore.
The possible answers of the poll are actually my thoughts of each one of them.
Please vote and write down if you want the reason why.
Used RTX 3090: cheap but energy and heat monster, no DLSS3, risk of purchasing a burnt out mining card.
New RTX 4070Ti: DLSS3, energy efficient, warranty but 12GB, 192bit, same performance with 3090 approx and wants 200£ more.
eBay RTX 4080: approx 200£ less than a new 4080, ugliest cards only available, No warranty most likely.
RTX 4080 FE: the card I should upgrade to but probably not worth the money compared to the other options above.
Other: whatever else makes sense of upgrading from a 2080Ti.
You can check my rig specs on the left.
I game on 3440x1440 at highest settings possible including RT.
90% Single player AAA games.
10% Battlefield.
Thanks.
