And now for something completely different: Azur Lane!
I know, mobile game, but a friend got me into it about 2 years ago and after a fairly significant break I decided to pick it up again. While I can play it on my phone, I prefer to play it in Bluestacks since the rig lets me upscale it to 1080p (320DPI apparently) and run it at a butter smooth 60fps. I even gave the emulator double its max RAM allotment (4GB, gave it 8GB) just for giggles. It is very nice on the rig.
For those completely unfamiliar with it: Azur Lane is a mobile game about anthropomorphic WW2 ships wrapped up in a near-incomprehensible story. One of the key features of AL is that it is extremely fair with its drops and resources. You get plenty of resources per day (in fact, way more so than before I took a break), the drop rates are very generous compared to other gacha games, there's multiple archives of previous events to unlock ships you miss, PVP is completely optional and the gameplay is actually pretty deep and fun. I believe they make the majority of money off their skins which is why they're able to make it more video game than skinner box.
Fair warning: it is heavy on the fanservice if you're not into that. Very heavy even. I left out a couple of screenshots of my favorite ship (far right, Takao) just in case I violated some rules or morals
