if you can't use rufus to install windows 11 and have to install a stock win11, then you can skip online account by using a@a.com and any password in the account signin menu. It'll say the account is disabled due to too many incorrect password attempts, and hitting Continue will allow you to create a local account.
I can't disable same services as Wn10 in Win11, it boots but i have to CTRL+ALT+DEL to reboot in safemode since it doesn't shows interface and flickers screen instead, list is huge, Win10 works great with all that disabled, also disabling EventLog kills explorer (only MyPC, no subdir will open) :
Can someone help me with Windows 11 color profiles, I added it in the advanced graphics area of control panel, so when I click settings - Display, I do see a few ICC profiles I can switch between that I added, but when I switch between them, nothing changes on my screen, so something isn't being enforced right... I never had a problem before, so I must be missing a step somewhere.

ICC profiles only work in color managed applications (like Photoshop for example). You won't see a difference on the desktop or other non color managed applications. Here's a video explaining how it works:

this is interesting, because in the past when I enforced color profiles I did notice a change on desktop immediately. i used to use a program called colour keeper or something like that, I forget exact name, and it would force the icc profile in windows no matter what program was running.
I believe not so long ago Windows made a change to this to avoid issues with non-pro hardware setting profiles meant to be assigned by a screen calibration tool/program duo.
Probably due to rise of using televisions as computer screens creating issues.

Market separation tactics create a pretty clean break towards them or monitors. Either can extend the use of W11 right up to a hard margin.
Massive 4K/8K smart tv with devoted internal processor handling graphical input allow some pretty neat calibration tricks you'd need a pro monitor for. Add ease of having good sound plus hooking up other devices and they are more feasible than in years past. BD on PC is dead, BD on a TV is not.
I just stated the easier to memorize. I even don't know every command, heck i just learned about dism recently. I remember implementing nodrivetypeutorun in w98 back then and in w11 recently, because ms are retards.

thank you for the clarification on this. rtings did a professional monitor calibration for my model of monitor, so thats the ICC profile i have set, in game things look good, maybe i will alt tab out of various games, toggle back and forth between icc profiles, and go back to game and see if i can tell any differences
This. Windows automagically detects what kind of screen(s) is connected and sets colour profiles accordingly. Driver controls can then be used to fine tune, or even change complete, to whatever the user desires.
I'm currently doing this. It requires some tweaking but the effect is good. The reality is, no one sells a professional/gaming/"PC" monitor in sizes about 42", generally. You can get a good quality 4K 55" TV for $500. Just food for thought.

Rufus removes this quite easily, I haven't seen this yet personally but nothing stops you using an online account, and then making a local offline admin account and using it...
i'm on it, so i removed a lot of lines a few times (half...), then i found it's one of this ones :
One off:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NaturalAuthentication]
"Start"=dword:00000004
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NcaSvc]
"Start"=dword:00000004
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NcbService]
"Start"=dword:00000004
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NcdAutoSetup]
"Start"=dword:00000004
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netlogon]
"Start"=dword:00000004
// then only two left to test (edit) //
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Netman]
"Start"=dword:00000004
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\netprofm]
"Start"=dword:00000004
//
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetSetupSvc]
"Start"=dword:00000004
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NetTcpPortSharing]
"Start"=dword:00000004
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\NlaSvc]
"Start"=dword:00000004
I will find it !.. EDIT
"netprofm" tested to disable only this one and screen flickered.......
EDIT II:
display switch shorcut doesn't works anymore, btw it was half broken since Win11 changed how arg don't work anymore and instead popups the right window then we have to manually select extend/duplicate/only1-2... !!

so i decided it's time to fix that (my services list to disable), and it was not too long, i cut the full list in two, again, again, until the list finished to be only a few remaining services, then found the only one !!
Games work and that's all i want, if Windows itself fails to be fonctionnal somehow (e.g: screen switch "shortcut" tiny popup window is blank, lol) i don't care.
//
@lexluthermiester, do you know Win11 changed how display-switch arguments work (C:\Windows\System32\DisplaySwitch.exe ARG), it's not possible to add argument to tell external/internal/... anymore, so we have to manually click one of the poping-up option, that's bad.
Perhaps i will use the Win10 version EXE tho (EDIT: done, works)
I have two displays connected to my PC, running Windows 11 Home. I use just the primary display most of the time but need to switch on my secondary display whenever I'm running a VM or need more screen estate. For years, I've used DisplaySwitch.exe…

Somebody to try to disable this service in Win11 and tell me if at restart screen flickers like crazy (need reboot safemode then re-enable it btw ) : netprofm
Pretty sure you have to manually enable it, it's not on by default
I've seen old articles talking about how windows 11 "will" do it, before 11 launched but havent heard or seen anything about it since then, first hand
I've had some windows updates bork my PIN and needed to use password, which worked fine offline and online - It'd be damned hard to forget both.
Some people don't bother reading whats in front of them and try typing the PIN at the password screen and vice versa, seen that in person a few times
Edit: got it from the MS website, it's not activating here because i create with local accounts first View attachment 280092
And then because I dont run a giant C: partition with everything on it, even if it did ever cause issues i'd be fine with my other partitions/drives unencrypted
If you use rufus or ventoy and remove the secureboot requirement, this also doesnt happen
