Benchmark Scores bench...mark? i do leave mark on bench sometime, to remember which one is the most comfortable. :o
I had that one for 2 months then it stopped working :(
You can also just check the (tire) pressure with it, which is nice.
When it worked it was loud and got hot after the 1st tire, and it only did 3 tires before a recharge was needed.
well, it got recommended by a friend who has one and use it for bike like i intend to, he has it since 3 yrs now still working good as new.

the user notice mention it getting hot during function and has a auto shutdown after 8 minutes, tested it on my wheels, took 2 minutes for 2.4 bar, not much noisy and not too hot
so far so good

-Thermal glue as I don't trust the thermal tape on those VRM/VRAM heatsinks.
-Another 1TB NV2, the one I have is a fine cheap drive
-Velcro tape for cable management
-GPU support

Finnish is like Dutch with more vowels, most of which don't exist.

Crap. I managed to smash my phone's front glass last night as I dropped it from my pocket.

Well, ordered a new one. Hope it arrives soon from Germany. Just need to take the current TouchID part as it's married to the phone's motherboard.

I believe it’s the 76 but the price was right about what I paid for my 43” LG IPS 4K about 5 years ago. I dunno what happened with its networking but it’s fine hooked to my Chromecast in my bedroom now and I took my previous 32” 1080i to the dump this morning.
I will say I absolutely hate the “Magic Remote“ where the “OK” button is also a cursor and a scroll wheel. I mostly hate the cursor. Reminds me of the horrid Quest 2 “hand controls“ I don’t understand why anyone would navigate they’re TV that way…
Right, I was lucky and got a model with 120 Hz support. I quite like the remote, not had any issues with it, but I don't really use the "magic" part, as you can navigate with it like a normal remote.

Same here for my LG CX old and others that have it, the magic remote is just a "gimmick" and I just use the regulary buttons it's faster for me.

wait, what's up with that price

it's weirder and weirder ... usually i would see price way higher than that for the same product, but since a few weeks, nope ...

but again ... 366chf more :

1688197023068.png

it would be hard to justify a 4080, if i was to buy a series 40 and had the finances o_O

that being said, ordered an Otterbox C to C cable (and another bikelock ... i think i have issues)

....still way cheaper than UK.

People got used to the price of the 4080 and went for it (including me).
I think nVidia put the price and said to themselves ...''they'll be fine with that in 6 months, keep it at 1200$''.
And suddenly more and more people have a 4080 in their hands....

It's Canadian $, so that 1,499 should be about €1,000.

I get your pain with the C to C cables. I've just got the second one from amazon that's not working with my nvme enclosure, so I'll have to get a third one as well.

Yeah I had no intention of gaming on it so it a 60hz was fine for me it's just used for streaming and Blue-Rays via my PS4
Well my "issue" is that center button has to be pressed "just so" to act as a button because off a bit and then it turns into the "cursor/magic" nonsense you control waving around the remote(annoying)on top of that it's also a scroll wheel(not really been an issue) Just hate when that stupid Cursor kicks in because I didn't press the button absolutely perfectly. Bottom line is that "button" is doing WAY too many things when I JUST need it to be a button....

Same here for my LG CX old and others that have it, the magic remote is just a "gimmick" and I just use the regulary buttons it's faster for me.
I’m talking about this “does too many things button. I just want it to be “OK” like any other remote not 3 different things I do like the streaming services buttons tho my issue is with my ADHD i am constantly pausing or rewinding stuff and I’m always fight with that button not just BEING a button I want to just pause something, whoops nope it’s a cursor now…

How is that even possible? Even limited USB 2.0 cables should work just very slowly.
Don't buy random crap from xina, make sure you get USB-IF certified cables.

Same remote, I really haven't had any issues using it. I have to shake my remote like a crazy person to get the magic thing to kick in.

Maybe this is what you need?

Or this, even though it's stupidly expensive.

How is that even possible? Even limited USB 2.0 cables should work just very slowly.
Don't buy random crap from xina, make sure you get USB-IF certified cables.
I have an Amazon Basic cable that works well, but only at 2.0 speed. Then I ordered one that keeps dropping the device intermittently. Then with the next one (Anker - a relatively trusted brand), the computer doesn't even recognise it. It seems to me that a lot of cables that are advertised as USB 3.1 and 3.2 compatible actually aren't.

Same remote, I really haven't had any issues using it. I have to shake my remote like a crazy person to get the magic thing to kick in.
No if you don’t click the button “straight down” it acts the little “nub” on a Thimkpad. its not about shaking you just have to press the button off centre and it activates.I have a vid I just can’t post it here and I can”t link you to my Discord server where I”m having a similar discussion about iit..
think of a crappy mouse wheel when you press it also “tilts” and then the stupid. Cursor comes up…

My order hadn't shipped yet so I cancelled. I totally chickened out.

I buy games but hardly play them. Do I need a 4080? I mostly just fold with my GPU these days.

More thought is needed :)

I've had no issues with certified cables, however, there's no requirement to be certified to sell USB cables, so maybe that's what you've run into. I've got several "charging" cables that only do USB 2.0 for data, but all the decent cables I've bought have no issues. Maybe give Lindy a go? They have 20 Gbps certified cables.

Never had that happen. The only way I can activate magic mode is my shaking my remote. The scroll wheel button has never triggered that. Can't try until August though, since I'm not in Sweden at the moment.

Well.. this is the second time that I am paying more than a thousand bucks for a GPU that is not a flagship. My next one might be a console :(

With all the tech and funding still going into mobile I'd bet heavier on a portable device. Or stick with last gen and let things sort themselves out.

It seems to me that a lot of cables that are advertised as USB 3.1 and 3.2 compatible actually aren't.

A book could be written and still not touch on the exact issues your cables are actually exhibiting. First step would be determining if they are counterfeit, grey market seconds/thirds/set aside for destruction, or just incompatible with your device. USB anything beyond 2.0 is a mess. Even if there was a solid standard it doesn't appear anyone has the least amount of interest in following it. Thus you get a lot of rejection built into devices.

I recently got myself a very cool levitating speaker. The sound quality is surprisingly good and well worth every penny spent

Never heard of that brand, I'll have a look. Although, my trust in Amazon brands has dropped recently, so maybe I'll order something from a proper PC shop like Scan or Overclockers.

For the record they changed the remote my buddy showed me the newer one yours is probably that one. They made the switch mid 2022 shaking mine doesn’t do anything.
