Luckily, there are still some parts from AliExpress to arrive, so it ain't like it will delay me too much getting that fitting with expedited shipping

I'm on my phone and can't upload a pic yet but I have recently purchased a acer nitro 27 inch 1440p 165hz w/freesync premium in almost new condition from a friend for a great price along with an amazing Corsair K65 mini RGB. In the spring I grabbed a TCL c645 4k tv for a great price and it complements my series S very well at 1440p/120hz with the resolution halving feature, the tv also is freesync certified so gaming is smooth as butter

I don't understand how you can use an M.2 B/M card in an M.2 A/E slot, considering the WWAN cards in 99% of all cases are A/E cards and SSDs are B/M.

My new OLED monitor arrives tomorrow.

I am the budget king, with my $399 OLED and $196 7800x3d. The NZXT H710 was also a steal a few years ago at $60.

Only weakness for me was the motherboard, but that non-e B650 had just come out and I had always wanted a Steel Legend, so eh. I also prefer to buy motherboards that are relatively newly released (so no risk of returned and repackaged as new, which happens way more than people realize).

my entire rig + oled monitor is like the cost of a single 4090, and in raster games at 1440p its only like 10-15 fps in slower in loads of games due to my overclocks on ram, cpu, and gpu.

I have no need for leather jackets

SKHynix and WD makes some 2242 M.2. that actually works.

Now that's the budget king in class alright. I dont think you can get anything better for the same price. Steel Legend is ok too. I mean you could save like 30$ but then use it on what? Certainly you couldnt get a better CPU or GPU for +30$. And I think Steel Legend would pay back to system with its looks. I believe Merc 310 also have silver & black color scheme so they should look great together. That being said, you got Red/Black H710 but not Silver/Black one?
What is the SSD? Dont tell me you went cheapo with QLC then it makes this system invalid for best budget build by default

The red/black was on sale and I needed a new PC case at the time, it was just good timing. I like the color scheme I have. My ram is white, mobo is white/silver, gpu is black/silver, and cpu air cooler is a beautiful silver/ with tiny tiny hints of a rainbow metallic effect on top when the light hits it right.

This is a two year old build at this point, I just upgraded my monitor basically. PSU is still my Corsair 850w gold for $109 and nvme is 1tb KC3000 i got for fairly cheap, though I forget the price now. I also use an old 2tb 2.5" SSD for storage with this rig. I honestly see no reason for a bigger nvme.

This mobo was def worth spending the extra 30-40 bucks on, it has a lot of nice features, optical port (which I do use), nice 20k Japanese caps, color scheme, BIOS layout is excellent, and I have had no issues with it personally. It is also one of the few brands that figured out how to do memory context restore properly, so I get very fast boot times. Most people should not enable this feature, but ASRock boards enable it by default. Not to mention it has excellent VRM cooling with the heatsinks being so large.

Not only that but whitelists on Lenovo existed way back on the T60. I used to make bios mods to remove them. I doubt they ever went away intentionally.

In that case I bought these the other day. This is the type of led strip to get honestly, diffusers are awesome, because now you don't need to place the strip out of direct line of sight. Its really pleasant to look at. It even has a sensor to respond to music... if you turn the volume up to 'party mode' that is, otherwise it doesn't register, but if you do and tinker with all the effect options... pretty cool, it can even do a waveform type of response. It also has a mode where it shows country flag colors.
