Well this came out of the blue, wasn't exactly planning for it but I just wanted to buy something for myself since my past ~2 months were complete hell so I wanted to treat myself before I get tired of even existing..
Had some extra money saved up and while randomly browsing tech stuff I was like okay GPU's are way too expensive even on the second hand market so thats gotta wait at least until late August/early September and then I've realized whats the oldest pat of my PC.
'Thought about buying non PC stuff too but I wanted something that I do use on a daily basis'
Apparently my monitor was ~6 years old at this point so I've checked what kind of 2560x1080 UW monitors are for sale in my country atm and actually theres not many models left and all of the
'higher' end ones were either out of stock or discontinued.
'yeh its a niche resolution I know but personally I like it since its still fairly easy to run and looks good to me, 3440x1440 is just too much/heavy for my budget sadly'
So I've ended up with this:

Still in the process of calibrating the colors and whatnot to my preference but so far it looks pretty good.
'Colors and the blacks defo pop more than on my previous monitor'
Yeah the 200 Hz part wasn't that important to me but hey why not.
'More fluid jiggle animations in my cultured gachas, I will take that..

My phone is not that good at capturing displays apparently but its quite nice in person.
Personally I was always interested in curved monitors and I have to say it does not bother me at all, the only thing I will have to get used to is that this monitor is a bit higher up than my previous one was cause that one had a fixed stand.
'This one is already set to its lowest point and its still higher up a little but maybe this is more ideal actually'
Never heard of the brand before but supposedly they are fairly known in the security camera market and only entered the gaming/monitor segment a few years ago so I gave them a chance.
'not like I've had too many options..'
Best part is that I've only paid ~240 $ for it brand new with 2 years of retail warranty which was great for me since I wasn't willing to spend much more anyway .
