After finishing the Uncharted 4 Thief’s end, normally I would continue with the lost legacy.
But slipped away and got the Hogwarts Legacy.

It was this or the last of us in line to be played after the uncharted but I recently watched the first three Harry Potter movies and wanted desperately to check how it stands.

Disappointed:
I'm really curious how rdr will look and run on the switch.
They do some crazy ports for the switch like Doom for example.
I have no idea how they manage to optimize the games to look and run so good on the switch.

Not sure what you mean, so put all 3 loads on in the morning when I walk in and let rest just get stacked there until next day.? Or leave the 3 there all day until closing time and pop in all 3 and get hem out of dryer in morning?

When you come in at the beginning of the day, there are 3 loads on the table. Leave them there until after 9pm, then wash them. There won't be any more loads dropped off, and you still have time to get them dried and on the pickup table (earning that 'S'-level pay) before leaving for the day.

(I think "last load in" is at 9pm, it's on one of the signs in the laundry area. If not, adjust this for whatever time the game uses.)

lately I just been ignoring the laundry and playing the arcade games. my arcade collection is almost full now, the Cyber Dance game is a lot of fun, its like Guitar Hero lol - air hockey is still my favorite. i only have one arcade cabinet left to buy at the current stage of the game, something about helicopters, looks decent.

FINALLY got around to plaything through this fan and community made remake of Metroid 2....the infamous AM2R: Return of Samus

What an awesome game! This is on par, if not better, than any of the main Metroid releases from Nintendo. Taking on the final Queen Metroid here. The music during this fight was pretty different from rest of the game, sounded like some sort of take on gangsta' rap. This is coming from a die hard metal head, but it totally fit the vibe of this being the big end game boss battle.

Picked up Baldur's Gate 3 not typically a fan of CRPGs it's really the only genre I typically avoid and this has been no different for me so far. I'll stick with it for a bit longer but so far I find it pretty meh.

Just got my Kickstarter backer key for Lifeless Moon, so playing that now. I backed both of this developers games and talked to him a few times, he is an awesome guy out of Alaska I believe.

I don't do Kickstarter anymore, but I have no regrets on this one.

edit: comes out tomorrow for non kickstarter folk

I enjoyed DOS 1 & 2 - but I found them much more enjoyable when I played the coop with my brother.

See if you can find someone to play the game with, it might make it a better overall experience for you.

I was a big fan of Divinity 2 back in 2010 when it came out didn't play DOS 1 but didn't like 2...... I don't mind giving these devs money so if I end up not playing it through to the end not a big deal. Never been a huge fan of COOP unless its with my wife and she wouldn't play this if I paid her to lol.

Just finished Paper Mario : The Origami King (on Switch)

NSwitch_PaperMarioTheOrigamiKing_03.jpg

NSwitch_PaperMarioTheOrigamiKing_05.jpg

NSwitch_PaperMarioTheOrigamiKing_10.jpg

To start, it's not an RPG, more an adventure game.
No XP to gain when fighting ... "normal" fight (with standard ennemies) are boring, useless (remember : no XP) and grow tiresome ...
Combats are original, you'll have to align the ennemies on a round checkered plate to get an 1,5x damage and fight with hammer, jumps, items or specials powers.
I think it misses the fun factor of the other Mario RPG.
The boss fight on the other hand are very good, with clever ideas. They're more like little strategic games.
The game is for everyone (Nintendo oblige, even more a Mario game), that's mean if you fail vs a boss, or an enigma, the second try will be easier an so on ...
Even small kids can do it.
Game could be a bit shorter (between 20 and 30 hrs).
A lot of humor especilly with Olivia (the little origami yellow girl) and her candid sense of perception.
The art of the game is splendid ... and there is even a take on Zelda : The Wind Waker : sailing an little ocean, with many small islands with enigmas to solve, and 3 temples to finish to get the Wisdom, Force and Courage item.
A good little game for holidays !
