Since I was asked I will post it here, for a change I did not spend on my PC and I don't plan to spend on it anymore in 2023. 'What I currently have is perfectly enough for my use case atm'
I play a lot less nowadays than normally so I thought it would be about time to replace my 20-21 years old damaged bike that I've been using since late elementary school days. 'it was a 26" full suspension bike and since I'm not a big/heavy dude I could get away with it even now as a 34 years old:laugh:'
This one is 27,5 and I can defo feel the difference, I will need to get used to it.

Use case wont be anything heavy so it shouldn't break, mainly just to get around my mostly flat town like shopping and visiting grand parents and very rarely go off road a little when I feel like it but that much it can handle under my weight. 'around 67kg/150 lbs currently'
Its a fairly basic thing but this is all I could spend on it, still a solid upgrade over the old thing I had which was getting a bit difficult to drive around lately and well I'm not getting younger either.

The kind of cringe decals can be ignored, I just liked the color theme and I'm not from an English based country anyway so nobody cares + I can change them any time if I want to.
Been biking around in the past hours and it feels pretty good in general, theres still some things I will need to tweak but it doesn't seem to have any serious issues. 'for my specific use case at least'

I might replace/buy a thing or two for it later but I rather not go too deep into that rabbit hole else it ends up being a money pit just like my PC in the past 1-2 years. 'front/back fenders are already on the way and some stuff I will move from my old bike like my front+back led lights'

does it ride faster than 26" bike? is that one of the changes you noticed? i am considering a 29" bike for a 26" bike, but still unsure.

29" wheels take a bit more effort to get upto speed but once you get going, and you're in a high gear, yes you can go faster and it's easier to maintain that faster speed. I wouldn't go back to 26" wheels unless I had no other choice.

29" - faster, more stable at speed, easier getting over small obstacles, heavier for handling on more demanding technical terrain, cornering.
26"-27.5" - slower, more stable on slower pace, bumpier ride overall, superb at the most technically demanding surfaces, cornering.
Size of a rider plays a role as well.

Yeah kinda, tho personally 26 was fine with me but then again my use case is nothing extra and for my size it was all good.
This 27.5 feels a bit more balanced in overall and is still okay for me but I think this is my max.

It's already a Super Bike !
It's more than enough for a town cruising, little trail.
Yep now all I have to do is add an RTX logo before it.
But yes the use case wont be more than that so it should be fine.

Same here, in bike shop no more 26" exept for some frames.
In "general" store (mall ?) you can find sometimes cheap chinese 26" bikes

And vice versa. But this is already straying off topic.
Being an MTB enthusiast, I could go on. But you'll never see me post here any photos of my bike, car, nor give any info about them, because they are easy recognizable due to modifications. Wouldn't want to invite any kind of thieves, and there are plenty in my country, to my house filled with electronics and stuff.

I was the one who requested @Sithaer post his new bike. Much appreciated.

This. Bigger people should lean toward bigger wheels. If you're 5'6"(168cm) or taller, you will very likely be more comfortable on a 29" wheel.

There is nothing wrong with any of the three wheel sizes for vast majority of population.

Larger volume and considerably wider tires can allow more comfort. Smaller wheel diameters can be built stronger (deflection) for heavier riders. Bike geometry and aligning your body inside it is the critical element.

For what its worth I'm like 172 cm/5.6+" and I've been using my old 26" bike for 20+ years so this is kinda new to me but its not uncomfortable or anything. 'I would have no issues using my 26" bike after this'
Anyway I guess I'm out of this topic for a while since I'm not planning on any tech related purchase anytime soon other than a game or two in this year.:) 'unless I get a new job in a month or two cause then I might buy myself a new phone for xmas:oops:'

What? As someone who rides bikes regularly, I can definitively say: Hell no! 24" wheels for an adult are silly stupid, 26" is doable, but not ideal for taller people.

Bike geometry and aligning your body inside it is the critical element.
That is usually factored into the design of the frame.

With price of 4TB PCIe4 x4 NVMe M.2 SSD going down, I'd decided to snag one while the going is good. Snagged a Lexar NM790 rated up to 7400MB/s, which makes it the fastest and largest NVMe M.2 drives I own (have 5x 2TB PCIe4x4 NVMe M.2 SSDs), it'll replace the Kingston 2TB drive in my main rig, will get a PCIe NVMe M.2 case to use it as an external drive. Will post a pic or two when I get it....

Edit - Have updated my system specs as it's just about a done deal.

Edit - Bought an Orico external PCIe NVMe enclosure for the spare 2TB SSD when the 4TB drive comes....

I put road tires on my 26" mountain bike; just want a commuting bike that does not need a lot of maintainance.

Not a purchase as such, but rather a gift and since it has been announced now I can share a pic of it. The driver is really nice and the bits are high quality stuff. Not keen on the flexible extention though, would've prefered a rigid one. Some of the Philips bits could've been larger, rather than the ultra tiny sizes some are. I mean, who needs a PH0000?

A PH0000 can be useful with some laptop screws. Anything larger and they possibly get stripped. And yes, Dell, I'm looking at you when saying that.

A PH0000 can be useful with some laptop screws. Anything larger and they possibly get stripped. And yes, Dell, I'm looking at you when saying that.
Wow and here I thought the Torx 5 screws Acer use were tiny and fiddly to deal with when opening the laptop...
Managed to trash a bit on a cheap screwdriver on those screws. It went back to the shop for a refund.

I was checking reviews about the AirPods pro (2) from Apple, it seems it's not good for Android phones from what I've read, restrained it seems.
Then I checked about the Samsung Galaxy Buds2 pro, people seem mixed about them so...
I bought that for 17,54€ and even if I didn't receive them yet, I'm quite sure I made the right decision !

As an owner of the Buds2 Pro, I love them. They fit very well and sound awesome (though I'm no audiophile) and their ANC is really, REALLY good. They do, however, have the same issue the Buds Pro and Buds2 have: they're prone to cause skin issues.

Got Ulefone 66W PD USB-C charger and a 2m USB-C cable with built-in watt meter home today and I was hoping it would power my Lenovo ThinkPad T480 which only requires a 65W charger but no it won't boot with it just complaing that the charger is too low wattage but it powers my dad's Lenovo ThinkPad L15 G1 just fine :(

I been looking for a smaller charger but I guess since this is not a "GaN" charger just normal PD it's not enough sadly, it works fine on my Samsung Galaxy S23 (Which I also took the photos with) and Xiaomi 10000mAH power bank.

or taller, you will very likely be more comfortable on a 29" wheel.
6'2" here. 29" is borderline uncomfortable with 32" being optimal for me. Can't afford a good bike though.
