Have been enjoying so far. Music and Graphics has me sucked in for now.

Reminds me of Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion.

The graphics are really amazing but there are so many glitches etc.
The ambient occlusion does not work well, the fog is totally broken, the lighting takes ages to adapt or affects the general colour palette of the scene etc.
I think the RT implementation is bad in this game. I may start blaming the Unreal Engine since there are so many examples that the engine is not fit for purpose.

Haven't noticed anything out of the ordinary yet but I'll keep my eye open. Only played like 2-3 hours so far.

Yeah, the graphics are good buy nothing groundbreaking. I find that RTX only does the "1% ers" over a good old DX10/11 title and it uses a shit ton of GPU power to get that 1%.

What are we up to, like DX12? I haven't found the most recent graphics that earth shattering lately.

Still, I'm enjoying the graphics of this game, nonetheless.

Finished High on Life a few days ago, well that game was something different. :laugh:

Started playing this now:

I did play and finish SS 4 ealier this year and just recently this was added to the list of game pass so I thought I should play it while I have pass active.
Supposedly a short game which is perfect for me atm since I don't play much but it should be fun. 'man I love the soundtrack in this serie'

Nier Automata collab event going on in the 'cultured' mobile/PC gacha I'm playing since late 2022.

Kinda wanted to play the Nier games just never really got to it and now idk if I should pick them up considering how little I play nowadays. '+ I have Starfield waiting on game pass but I only plan to try that out for now'

Been playing Crysis Remastered lately. Still feels playable though the fps is only around 45+ as I play at 4K since Crysis isn't that much of a fast-paced game.

Finished only act 1 so far and I play at Delta difficulty as always.

Been playing Risk of Rain 2 a periodically recently and getting into it a bit more gradually. The graphics really are striking it's a slightly modern retro 3D feel it's a lot like breath of the wild style wrapped up in a space scifi. The game is a bit rough when you start playing, but as you unlock more and more stuff and turns into quite a out of world experience. There is a surprising amount of depth to the game mechanics and has quite a few more characters to unlock and are all pretty uniquely fun. It's a great co-op experience, but there aren't a over abundance of players. That boss mob looked like he was ready to shred on a axe shaped guitar so idk why he's wielding a 10 ten ton hammer.

The Q item with R attack work so good together suck them in together then AOE them which also slows them plus the M2 works great when their clustered together to cut them apart. I really like that cube item in general.

not bad overall, if you like to wander a lot, watched a let's play, the guy zoomed the first moon without exploring it ... i did explore it a bit, got over encumbered :laugh:

skyrim in space, eh? i rather get a cyberpunk x fallout feeling ... but yeah, i like it. (although it will not make me veer off of my heavily modded Skyrim : 1924.8hrs in SE-AE atm )

now just need to wait on interesting things popping up on Nexus ...

Back to the 16 month grim dawn hiatus. Did that forbidden domain steps of torment yesterday.........that was a grind........also lots of loot but no portals lol

Still, it would be nice to have a mission selector like Borderlands and a diamond on the HUD and map. A lot of times it takes more time finding the mission than completing it. :|

Anyone know if this is possible? Settings? Mods?

i don't plan to rush main quest for a NG+ run ...

did some side quest on New Atlantis ... met a fun guy at the bar... my brain: *oh hell no!* (no spoiler)

sooooo, farming ... crafting, outposting, selling a lot, buying ammo a lot, buying a Class A Galileo (skill and challenges is what will take me time :laugh:

)... ship building ... yeah ... this will do for now (bloody heck, that's a lot of terrain to cover ... )

rear vanity shot of the Galileo, because it's what i modified the most ... more engine, cargo bays, aft porthole, for the front i only changed the weapons grouping (i.e. : missile on the roof, doubling the KE-20 cannon and adding 2 Mauler 104L autocannon, yeah ... no Laser ... Missiles are quite enough for shield busting )

In playability, there's pretty much nothing changed. So I can't say that does it beat the original or not since the graphics are practically the only difference.

Well, I've seen few bugs with the AI on remastered but that's all so far :laugh:
