I've just installed my Sapphire Pulse. Based on the first tests, it's awesome. :)

With that said, the AMD reference seems to run a bit hot and loud, and Asus is waaaay expensive here in the UK. As for the rest, I don't think you could go wrong with any of them.

As a long time AMD user I find that Sapphire seem to get the best binned chips. That means that they usually OC and UV better than the rest, especially compared to reference.

my xfx 7900 xt stays cool and oc's pretty good on air. 2770 vram, and it boosts to around 2.6ghz consistently in starfield and is 60 core and 80 hotspot at 65% fan speed.

starfield is the most demanding game i own, so most games run colder than this even, i can push it to 2.9ghz if i want, but it gets toasty at around 90-92 celsius, so i opt not to do that. maybe if i went water like you.

i am very impressed with xfx (first time xfx owner here). that being said historically speaking Sapphire was my number 1 choice.

Were you also excited about getting Starfield included with this purchase or not particularly phased about it?

It's pretty much like another U.S. $70 off. Not a bad deal. Congrats!

yep, technically my 7900 xt was was only $605 including tax thanks to prime day sale and starfield, cause I got starfield premium, and this is absolutely a game I would have bought, I am already 30 hours in and hundreds more to go over several years off and on.

yes I know this question was not directed at me. just love the deal i got :p

Absolutely! Still waiting for the retailer to send the code, though. They said it can take up to 5 working days. Ugh. :(

i can vouch for this. really loving my 6800xt nitro+. saphire card is beautiful and very2 cool. and they usually have 3 bios settings.
1. hardware bios - max performance
2. hardware bios - silent mode
3. software bios - if we switch to this, we can freely choose our bios from the trixx software
my nitro+ also have a cable connection for ARGB sync with our motherboard, so we can control our gpu rgb to automatically sync to our motherboard

Just got the ASRock Radeon RX 7800 XT Phantom Gaming OC from Microcenter. Nice bit of kit indeed. Heavy card so I need to address it with some additional support since it’s saggier then an old man’s retirement package (slaps knee).

Beyond that the Auria EQ276W 2560x1440 monitor I initially paired it with was stuck at 1920x1080 once the AMD drivers were installed. The default Microsoft drivers at first boot didn’t have that issue. I eventually sorted it by switching to DisplayPort. Tested it with a 4K monitor and it was fine too.

hello

which one should i buy ? which one is the best from of all these question from total amatuer to experts here

Sapphire Radeon RX 7800 XT Nitro+
AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT
PowerColor Radeon RX 7800 XT Hellhound
ASUS Radeon RX 7800 XT TUF
XFX Radeon RX 7800 XT Merc 319
ASRock Radeon RX 7800 XT Phantom

thx in adv.

I'd probably avoid the reference and ASRock simply due to poor warranty support. PowerColor's support isn't stellar but it's not bad either. I'd probably lean towards the Sapphire or XFX card myself. Ultimately the choice is up to you.

If you MUST use RT maybe. Otherwise it's soundly beaten by the 7800 XT in pretty much everything.

Assuming of course the 4070 is even capable enough of RT a few years from now, both in regards to VRAM capacity or raw performance. It has the same hallmarks of becoming another 3070, where performance just drops off a cliff in RT in 2 years.

I think the fact that you are getting such a large game for free is a plus. One of the few game bundles that's actually good given the value provided, even if you don't happen to be a huge fan of Bethesda games.
