Prove or bust, it ain't Reddit here. Basic manners are basic manners.
Pat is wearing jeans, sneakers and a graphic t shirt. Yet you want to complain about the guy that actually put a little effort into what he's wearing.

What a joke...

Can be both good and bad. Because Zen 5 might need months of optimization and fixes before it actually works "great"
There is no driver for talking with the CPU and it'll go into the existing AM5 platform, so there won't be many ways for AMD to optimize it after release. Sometimes the OS needs to change to handle threads in an ideal manner, like when SMT, modules, preferred cores, E cores, or Thread Director were introduced. And if a CPU is really strong in a certain area then designing software to rely more on that might make sense. But for the most part, when a new CPU microarchitecture is made, it's faster across most types of software without any of that software being optimized for it.

Depends on game. 13600K beats 7800X3D in Starfield (funny, since its AMD sponsored)
Besides, 13600K is way cheaper than 7800X3D and the true comparison should be 13700K anyway (soon 14700K)

Of course it varies based on the game, it should go without saying that I was stating averages. Taking single game performance and pretending as if it represents performance on a broader scale would be cherry picking.

And yes, of course the 7800X3D is more expensive, it's the fastest gaming processor on the market right now which always costs a premium. That comparison was never about the price though (even though the difference isn't that big at $320 vs $380 with the $380 7800X3D including the $70 starfield).

Also, you can boost Intel gaming performance alot with faster memory (than 6000 Mhz). You can't on Ryzen 7000 since 6000 MHz is sweet spot and going above won't change much and might even lower performance. Even AMD said 6000 MHz is sweet spot.

The 13900K's memory performance gains above 6000 are less than 1% on average:

13900K memory scaling test

After AMD's BIOS patch a month back, AMD is more stable on higher frequencies as well, just watch of any buildzoids video on the topic.

Not sure why some people still seem to hold the belief that memory performance saves 13th gen. No, according to every memory scaling benchmark we've seen it's a non factor compared to their Ryzen counterparts. On either brand you should be slapping in a 6000 kit with the lowest timings you can get. It's a waste on either to pursue higher frequencies due to added instability.

Because people like to talk about things they do not really understand, nor ever held in their hands... especially basing your info from paid influencers...

For example it very rare that someone mentions AMD SMT fix doing Cyberpunk Benchmarks... basically throwing out of the window all previous data.

Pretty weird to look at well paid, educated person who wears a hat indoors. If he doesn't care about etiquette and many do also, he is publicly on stage with many persons who might find it offensive as those really are basic manners and showing respect to others.
...what? I've never even heard of finding someone wearing a hat indoors offensive! Why the hell would it be offensive? It has no impact on anyone else, you can still see his face & hear his voice, it's not hurting anyone!

It is history mate... manners. If you weren't also educated about it so let it be, it seems normal these days. It is a form to pay respect, or vice versa. But same goes for certain countries if you offer to shake hands using your left one, if you know why it is rude, you may argue that it cant be like that anymore... but it ain't. There are no problems being informally dressed. Hat is a centuries old etiquette rule, it was broke only by those in power to show their status as above others in social status so the gesture is still valid.

Well a stupid question. When your country anthem plays? Why people take off their hats? Or that's also not important and not happening? So this case doesn't apply to that? As I said, this is a public stunt, you should follow basic manners as there are many cultures around the world. You have to act without offense, you have to have a person regulating the whole event telling what's good or bad.

I am not offended by remarks that find it amusing, that I argue about it. But it is just a point of view, maybe older European look. But that's how I was told in school and parents. It is a pure matter of knowing what's what and manners.

That's your idea of manners. Nothing is in stone. The left handed thing is just old hate for lefties. Just like they used to beat you in school and thought you were demonic if you wanted to write left handed. People in hats aren't disrespecting demons... like a baseball cap ok I can see it being a little out of class but this hat, nothing wrong. Get over your own idea of what's right.

Times change I'm afraid, & majority rules, & I expect the majority don't think wearing a hat indoors is bad manners anymore, therefore it's not bad manners anymore.

Now if we're talking about the latest generation who think playing music on loudspeakers on public transport is not bad manners...well they're just wrong :p whilst I think I'm still in the majority on that one, maybe one day I'll be in the minority & I'll have to concede that society no longer thinks that's bad manners. I'm sure I'll feel much the same as you do now!

It does, in games that scale well with memory, you can gain 5-10% by using faster memory unless latency is bad

Yes Ryzen 7000 can use faster memory than 6000 with new AGESAs but it is pointless anyway due to how AMD's infinity fabric work

Intel don't have this issue and you can blast the memory as high as you can and some games will scale well
14th Gen looks to use DDR5-6400 and will probably be able to use DDR5-8000 without a problem

Hopefully Ryzen 8000 will be able to use 7000-8000 speeds instead of just 6000. We have not seen the true potential of DDR5 yet, speeds are still kinda low and 6000 is not really impressive when latency skyrocketed. DDR5 at 4800-5200 is literally mediocre at best. Reminds me of early DDR4 days with 2133-2400 speeds.

You missed one important thing, @Ferrum Master . The guy with the hat had a specific role at that demonstration. A quick glance at Google picture search for "theatre actor" reveals that at least one in five wears a hat, and some of those are far more strange than this plain black hat.

***

But that hat apparently casts a such long shadow, and no one noticed that A.I. is now writing song lyrics by ripping off T.S. - How the roles have reversed!
