Dtd anyone have one of these back in the day? o_O
another one of our fav you tubers :)
I've seen one, it was trash. The screen was/is terrible and the specs were crap, even for the time. Until MJD did the video's on it, I had never known it could be modded to run Windows/Linux. Still not worth it though. The screen is crap and the GFX performance is likewise.

Not quite exactly the processor you would have had when this board was released but I don’t have a Phenom at the moment  I need to find a Crossfire Express 3200 or 580x board instead LOL. I think I had an ASUS M2A-MVP (if I recall right) 480x board paired with this CPU originally in 2006 with a Sapphire X1950 Pro 256mb! Too fun to find this old “e-waste”.

I bet if I registered it with MSI now, their servers would be like wtf?! Lol

I am looking for a touch screen for my PI4.And wondered what is the best Matte or Glossy ?I understand Matte is best for outdoor use because it is not refective like Glossy ones.I want be using it outdoors so that would not be a problem for me.What i am worried about is finger prints on the screen.I guess they would show more on a Glossy screen
.Used | Portable Touchscreen Monitor 15.6" USB C Touch Screen Monitor FHD HDMI 1. Used Monitor There may be scratches on the appearance of this monitor, but there is no problem .Is it a bad idea to buy a second hand one ? o_OI don,t wanr scarches in the screen, when the seller says may be be scratches on the appearance of this monitor,o_OThere is no picture of the actual screen.I like the kickstand design with all the cables on it.The monitor is UPFRONT ir goes for £200 if new this is the one here
the price the seller is asking is £115.I have not seen a kickstand design like this before.I don,t know why. o_OI have just asked the seller to show the actual acreen i don,t supose they will they.

Now that you mention, I think I have the microATX version of the M2A-MVP. It's amazing how despite being microATX they still crammed a whole lotta features on it.

ATX wise, only a K9N Neo v2 is what I have. nForce 520 mobo. Not sure what I might be able to do with it...

Right, it had to have been inexpensive at the time for me to buy it as well LOL. The Asus one anyway.

Cool cool! I want to find one of the K9A2 or K9N2 Platinum boards with the epic copper heatsinks.

This would be the other one i am intrested in ,this is only 14 inch
£140 new.As opposed to the secend hand 15,1 one for £115.I don,t know why the seller does not want to put a photo or send it to me.I don,t want to have to send it back. If there are only one or two scratches on it that want be a problem. :)

Finished another 360. This one is a MS refurbished Xenon (to those less savvy about 360s - this is the OG model, before they added HDMI) which I'll likely slap a chip + HDD on.

GPU on this one is from the safe batches where a new white underfill is used (and so is the blue HDMI unit next to it). Kinda getting Geforce 8 nostalgia, where nVidia rolled out fixed mobile chips (had a 9300MG that was a relabeled 8400M GS w/ new underfill) and you could safely experience the Geforce 8 series chips without worry.

I think the Blue would look better with the Black parts and the Red with the White parts. But that's just me..

Thanks for the suggestion, though the reason I went red/black on the Xenon was to make a Resident Evil 5-themed Xenon, especially with the board inside having been refurb'd not long after the game's launch.

Attached is the original MS made RE5 limited edition 360. Most if not all of these are made from the Jasper revision Elites.

The blue one is supposed to be sort of an "inverted" version of the RE5 skin, hence why the case is blue (mostly) and the rest of the highlights (trim, DVD, power button) are white.

Ah! Ok, you have a specific theme in mind. Cool!

The shade of blue you chose instantly reminded me of the movie "Weird Science", thus my quote with Gif. It looks good though!

Not the painted ones. I have a bunch of RGH3 modded 360s, mostly phats and one glossy slim.

I'll have to note each of them, get a bunch of cheap wireless controllers, a bunch of chords, and they're ready to go. (the slim would be the first to go since I had gotten it complete with all chords, a controller and a free copy of GTA5 disc2)

I also have an JTAG Falcon unit - ancient stuff! Not much 360s that can JTAG out there, but I'm still on the look. I'd love to get my hands on a taggable Xenon.

I am thinking of getting this off eBay .My question is will i be able to to use a external floppy drive to boot the floppy disk? o_OAnd if I were to buy the disk would it be a straight forward process?o_O
Microsoft Windows 98 Second Edition
with Product Key + Floppy Boot Disk

Originally intended for Tiny computers.
But will install on any brand of PC its not cheap but if it does the job it will be worth it .I would put it on one of my retro PCs. .It seems to a be quite a job getting Windows 2000 on there let alone 98.o_O If I could get a Windows ME package like the 98 one for the same price that would be good .:)IF I get 98 to work it will be worth it for £12 :)

Tiny Computers was a British computer manufacturer based in Salfords, Surrey, England. The company went into administration due to substantial losses in January 2002 and was subsequently purchased by rival OEM Time Group.

I am reading the Xbox 360 Wiki and what not trying figure out what you are talking about with these acronyms lol. Man, I remember that the 360 had a long run but dang, 2005 to 2014. Wow. Soooo many revisions and updates it’s awesome. When they switched to the integrated GPU, did it still use the same type of ATI GPU originally but just die shrunk, or was it completely different?

Yeah, you should be okay @Greenslade

If you have a external floppy drive and the disk is okay, it should install.

As long at the CDkey is legit, that disc is too. For Microsoft OSes of that time, the Certificate Of Authenticity is was makes a copy of Windows legit. So long as that COA is genuine, the discs it comes with, even if reproduced, are fine. Not all software was/is like that, but Windows Software from that time period generally is.
