Downclock from 7200MHz to 6400MHz. 2 pairs of G.Skill Trident Z5 RGB F5-7200J3445G1GX2-TZ5RS.
Its an i5-13600K, just AIDA64 not showing correctly.

Just updated Aida64 on my 13900K & 8200Mhz 48GB DDR5.
On the new 6.92.6600 from previous 6.90.6500 i go from 1650 GB/s to under 800 GB/s on L3 Read, and from 960 GB/s to 750 GB/s on Copy. Write was also a bit lower.

Tried several times, restarted my pc and its very consistent on these numbers on the new version.

So i tried reverting back to 6.90.6500 and i was back to "normal" numbers again.

Could it be that they changed the testing method from running P and E cores to now only P cores?

Did some quick tuning, could probably still do better, but can't be bothered to sink the time in stability testing.

This is 100% stable.

2133 FLCK otherwise same settings.

Realised FCLK needs to be 2067 to be in 3:2 sync with MCLK, 2067x1.5=3100=6200MT/2

Shaved off another ns by reducing FCLK.

Realised I had my memory controller voltage very low at 1.1, limiting tuning, set to 1.35 which is completely safe, managed tighter timings and 57 ns!

Zentimings gets voltages wrong BTW.

Played around with BLCK OC, got stable 101.5 with same timings. I adjusted tRFC so ns stayed at 150, had issues booting when I tried tuning tRFC to lower than that in the past.

As a bonus my CPU now boosts 75 MHz higher too :D

Yep, playing around with BCLK, not so far behind

Took your advice on the FLCK at 2067 from 2100 since I'm also running at 6200MT's and seen similar 1 ns improvement in Latency.
Aida64: 61.2 to 60.2ns. Before I was under the impression that the FLCK wasn't in anyway linked with the memory controller but apparently this isn't true..

Finally under 60 ns :)

3 times back to back 59.7 so looks solid to me.
Benchmarking / Gaming hard past ~ 48 hours with no issues thus far..
Quite a boost over "EXPO"

Who is closer to reality, aida64 or occt?
4x48 GB = 192 GB.
Only P core, Ecore de-activated, Hyper T de-activated.

How are some getting mid 50's with similar settings? What I'm I missing? Perhaps its my MB.. Regardless still a decent bump from "EXPO" 67ns
I wonder if disabling "GDM" would change anything but can't for the life of me locate it in the Asus BIOS.. My R9 7900X scores top 2% in 3DMARK Time Spy so don't think its my CPU..

Before disabling GDM (which will likely have you redo the entire timing set down to the tertiaries, if you can even achieve it), try to raise your FCLK. 6400's too high for Zen 4, and your FCLK is a little on the low side for that kind of speed grade. At least 2167 should be doable. Also, your VSOC is quite high, I wouldn't go above this if you plan to keep this CPU for any meaningful amount of time.

Sure about that? I thought VSOC above 1.30v was "high".. I'm at 1.27v.. I just changed it the BIOS to 1.25v - Hopefully it remains stable..

How is 6400MT/s "too high" for Zen 4 if I've been running it stable for a while now? Plus its giving me the best results.

Also, tried FCLK at 2033-2200 and 2133 gives best results.

Just tried 6200 MT/s at 2200FCLK and the results where significantly worse. So went back to my current 6400 MT/s at 2133FCLK - Changed VSOC to 1.25v until I can find out how 1.27v is "too high".. Obviously if remains stable I'll keep it at 1.25v - no need to run higher than required..

Can you point me to documentation or anything that suggest 1.27v VSOC is "high / putting my CPU at risk of an early death"?

Perhaps what you are saying was true months ago, updates have been made more recently. I'm running SK Hynix A-Die.

As far as GDM I can't even locate it in the Asus BIOS put really not that concerned / probably wont effect much regardless.

Thanks for the response regardless.

GDM is mem_buff on Asus.

Addr_cmd = buff is gdm off.
