hello DnDzSAS
you are not providing the correct information to be able to modify the HEX code of the bios to put the correct values in it. also, personnally, i refuse to take the risk to modify anything and tell you "go ahead, you wont brick your motherboard"
basically, everything you need to know is in the topic, the tools, the method, what to modify, there are screenshots too. it will take you around 15 minutes to figure it out, but if you are unsure of what you are doing, just dont do it.
concerning the nice colors at boot, i can speculate on a very new gfx card that doesnt wait for the bios because on modern computers, fast boot skips a lot of things, maybe the video card doesnt like to wait for an old bios. Given that you provide zero information and detail, that s pure speculation.
sometimes i wonder if it would be best to request to lock this topic, which is sad.
again, before posting, please read if not all, at least half the pages of this topic before requesting anything.
i repost my request, if anyone managed to make Grub boot with the good identification strings for nvme, please send me a direct message.
back to previous post, i had a grub version (Ubuntu LTS 18) that loaded almost immediately, and did boot the system quite fast, just unsure if it was the one on the 2TB or the one on the 1TB, i had two at that moment, and the disks are identified with very long hex strings instead of nvme0p1/2. but still, it did boot way faster than windows that waits a good minute before launching on the 2TB.
i ll deactivate the alerts for this topic, and will not post again unless i visit once a year to see what s new, i'm tired to receive alerts about new posts of people requesting something that cannot be provided because they didnt read 1% of what has been said here.
goodluck all.
