Windows is business software. Real world that means very few up to date, updates. It does mean up to date security at the low level of personal usage inside of industrial security measures taken. Meaning browser usage and potential for opening files with nasties.
Lex is almost completely likely to be correct in his firm stance on security updates. It would be something beyond belief if they told their entire consumer class userbase something as new as 22H2 was being utterly and completely abandoned. Business customers? That would induce a blind panic and lawsuits over the costs involved to even get the ball rolling on getting the ball rolling this decade.
