G.SKILL Flare X5 DDR5-6000 CL32 (AMD) 2x 16 GB

EXPO is usually better since they can use extra values that dont exist on XMP.
In order of importance to me:
EXPO
Timings
voltage (If it went from 1.2v at CL32 to 1.5v at CL30, I'd not bother with the CL30)

The differences between those would be small, but the CL36 kit is noticeably slower than the rest

Thanks for the feedback.

I was checking G.Skill website and it seems both the CL30 and the CL32 are 1.35V:
- DDR5-6000 CL30-38-38-96 1.35V
- DDR5-6000 CL32-38-38-96 1.35V

And where I live the price difference between them is negligible (less than 15 bucks).

In such case, should I go for the CL30?

Can I use them with Intel 13600k on msi mag z790 tomahawk?
Yes. If the motherboard doesn't already support EXPO with the current BIOS, update it. Otherwise you will not have the DDR5-6000 EXPO profile option and it will run at DDR5-4800.

Sorry for reviving the thread for the second time. Just have a couple of questions about this RAM: https://www.proshop.no/RAM/GSkill-Flare-X5-DDR5-6000-BK-C30-DC-32GB-AMD-EXPO/3157263 in combination with this motherboard: https://www.asrock.com/mb/AMD/B650M-HDVM.2/index.asp.

1. Will that RAM work just fine on that mobo?

The reason I'm asking is that on that mobo's memory QVL page (when filtering for G.SKILL) only Intel XMP modules are listed. Why is that?

Thanks!
That's probably because those are the modules that they tested with the motherboard. Don't worry about it, it should work. :)

Don't see why not.

Auswolf said what I was going to. QVL is only what is tested with the motherboard, not the only thing that will work.

I have think with the newest BIOS update everything will be just fine.

Thanks guys! :)
