Good old customizability. Reminds me of when I used OpenSUSE KDE (KDE 4.xx at the time), so heavily customized that made some classmates of mine (when I was still studying computer engineering) be awed and asking me what sorcery that was. Every Linux I used since then (until Garuda) I used as vanilla as possible (and MATE is great as that, as simple as can be), because that OpenSUSE got me a little tired hahahaomg omg omg
