Hi, @AAF Optimus, du you have a compatible Rtk-HDMI-Driver in your Repo? Or could you pls integrate it as selectable Component in your next Drivers?

Realtek HDMI is already built into the main driver, if you mean a current onboard HDMI-DP then that is driven by the APU driver.
If its a GPU then its driven by the GPU driver, not Realtek. Don't see many Realtek ALC's with HDMI out.

I've spent the last couple hours trying to merely get a Realtek HDaudio driver installed that had an EQ.

Finally gave up trying OEM/1st part drivers, and settled on this w/ just the X-Fi MB5 feature app.
Perfect!

but please show me how to join both speaker and headphone into 1, my stereo mix doesn't work if i have separate playback devices
i'm learning how to use AAF Audio Tweak Tool and my Realtek Audio Control can't boot so it would be nice if someone teaches me the tweak tool method

hello, since i cant search in this thread i had to make a reply, i got realtek in my rog mb, windows 11, your driver works fine, 7.1 setup, i got good audio, no glitch, good sound quality but since i pluggued my tv, nahimic asked me if i want to enhance this device, i chose yes, since then none of the enhancement apps that came with the drivers works with realtek device, it all appears to work but makes no difference in audio, although it works on my tv. realtek device is default, there no enhancement tabs in settings, i tried the other hdaudio driver, all enhancements works, everything is there but it sound like garbage and no 7.1 function, i need enhancements otherwise it makes this driver completely useless, please help me, i tried to uninstall, then ddu, reinstall, delete the hdmi driver, nothing works, i dont want to reinstall windows

Uninstall the DCH drivers+software using add/remove programs or whatever. Reboot. Reinstall.

Hello! Could someone plese explain what the feature of these drivers is?
What advantage do they have compared to the non modded drivers?
And what does 'only fpr HDAUDIO' mean in practise? I mean: Each and every mainboards's audio is HDAUDIO since many years, isn't it?

HDA over USB, more later boards are using the Realtek USB versions, but still have an [edit: High Definition Audio Controller] (from what I saw).

The Realtek ALC4080 on the new Intel boards demystified and the differences to the ALC1220

The extra bandwidth does allow analogue to do 8 x 192k 32 bit, but don't expect any extra channels/ports.
The only use I can think of, is to get 125Mbps out of SPDIF. USB 2.0 can do about 30MBps.

384k samples is a white elephant, human hearing range is 20Hz - 20kHz. 384 / 2 = 192kHz.

Here is information in regards to the Nyquist theorem (external link), you can skip to 'Nyquist theorem in audio signals' if you want, but you should read it all.
Also note the playback equipment must also support and process the full frequency, most amps are around 20hz-20kHz (varies).

So lets say I decided to pump out 192k sample rate, and my hardware (inc amp) processed 96kHz, I still wont actually hear any of the sound.
So, going over 48k (and even more so when the hardware does only 20Hz-20kHz, and filters), is a white elephant (useless).

Now here is where there should be some laws in place, some of you would pay the extra money for 384kHz sample rate headphones.


Nearly all DTS-Dolby content is around 48k, not much point wasting bandwidth on a white elephant.

i did it 6 times now and nothing, i do clean uninstall, reboot on safe mode, ddu, reboot, reinstall, same thing, even the settings stays there

I am going to guess you have an MSI? Well I have a friend with a USB Realtek (ignore USB bit), that's MSI, if not no matter.

I was able to fully remove Nahimic from his device, right down to residual files (as if never installed, ever).
Even with all the usual disable Windows driver auto-updates, it will install Nahimic.

The only workaround, was to ignore it, and setup the device with FX keys, in this case my DTS Ultra pack.
With this pack, it will probably remove all the AAF keys, and leave you with default.


Nahimic is literal malware no matter how you uninstall it's program or try to remove it's drivers it keeps coming back

I have HP 800 G1 PC. My sound card is FF04 = FF00 with Conexant (CXAPO) Integration.. What is best for me? Before reinstalll windows i have also FF01 = FF00 with Fortemedia (FMAPO) Integration & FF04 = FF00 with Conexant (CXAPO) Integration
but, now fresh windows and installed driver i have only FF04 (I check with script power shell)

Hello.
I have Creative SoundBlaster FX v2 card. I install this latest drivers for working DTS interactive. Everything works good but the configuration options for s/pdif out not working its only stays on 2 channels. If i run any game its play only stereo. Is it exists a workaround to enable a configuration on optical out to choose a 5.1 speakers. I have s/pdif connected to Z906 speakers.

I was edited the multichannel.reg file as you said run it then restart the pc but its still a stereo on games. Its only works good when i run Voicemeeter app and configure spdif device to a VoiceMeter input then i can configure it on windows sound setting as 5.1 device after that in games i have 5.1 sound but its produces a little input lag
