Oh?Firstly, there is no such thing as an "Intel thread" or an "AMD thread".
Ryzen Owners Zen Garden
I'm posting this in case anyone wants a Ryzen thread for troubleshooting and guidance. As someone with a build about to happen, I have a feeling I might need some help. New wave of CPU'S means teething probs. So, feedback on BIOS issues, memory hints and general tweaks could be useful. Trolls...

The RX 6000 series Owners' Club
Well, since Ampere has a club thread here, I figured why not a club for RDNA2 aka RX 6000 series? I guess there won't be that many of us, but I wanna stand up and counted as a proud owner of a 6000 series card. To get things started, here's mine, a Sapphire Nitro+ RX 6800 which I'd gotten a...

AMD RX 7000 series GPU Owners' Club
Okay guys, gonna start a similar thread to the RX 6000 owners' club. Pretty sure I ain't the first here, not even with an AIB card. I did say that when I do get an RX 7900 card, it'd be from Sapphire, PowerColor, XFX and perhaps ASRock. So, here it is, an XFX MERC 310 RX 7900 XTX. Pardon the...

X99 Club
We have a number of platform clubs but nothing for the excellent X99? Weird. So here we are. And to start off, we have a very good video about it compared to a more modern AM4 Ryzen 3700X. The results were surprising. Jeff keeps it real, keeps things objective and impartial, unlike other...

X58 overclocking club
Let's have a separate thread for my favourite old-school platform :toast: Currently running Linpack on my Xeon X5650 @ 4.1GHz. edit: this part by @MachineLearning I've tried to get to the bottom of this many times, there isn't a clear answer but this is my understanding of what's the max...

While I whole-heartedly agree with you in principle, if I were to jump into the Ryzen thread and start bashing/nay-saying Ryzen CPU's and pushing Intel CPU's as a better option, not only would that be WILDLY inappropriate but it would be more than enough reason for the mods to take action. And they would be quite correct to do so. The same goes for front page articles and reviews when the Intel fanboi crowd jump in and dump on the AMD or NVidia product being discussed. Same with AMD fanboi and Nvidia fanboi crowds. It's shitposting of the worse kind and deserves proper actions. This is a public forum, every thread is public, which means any and everyone can post in it. Don't like that? Don't start a thread here. It really is that simple!
On this point you're spot-on.that's a problem ... the ones posting incorrect information, not the people correcting it.
I've found it doesn't actually do any good. Causes more problems than it solves and, as implemented by Xenforo, is a waste of time and effort.I'm incredibly thankful for the "ignore" feature because it allows me to avoid having to interact with people
