For my son, he is experimenting with epoxy and needed a compressor/airpump for his small pressure vessel.
Don't know yet if it will work, but will give it a try.
If it does not work out, I still have a nice pump to inflate my bycicle tyres
I see some great potential, going around ”helping” peoples :)

I caved and preordered a Samsung S24 Ultra Titanium Violet, I'm truly a Samsung headcase.

Edit - Oh yeah, will post a pic or two when I get it...

I can't get over the square corners. I'm sure the better camera system is worth it for people who decide to buy the Ultra. But I don't really take that many photographs - only 120 photos in all of 2023. I ordered the S24+ 512GB to replace my S20+.

The square corners are lovely (I own a S23U), and it makes a lot of sense when taking the S Pen into account. No reason at all for me to consider the S24U but the flat screen. Yes, it's that much of a bother using the pen at the side edges of the S23U.

I told my bud that, he has the excellent S23U and I told him that while the S24U may have minor tweaks/improvements over the S23U, there isn't much diff between them, so I'd advised him to stick with his S23U till perhaps the S25U(?) next year. I have the Fold4 and the Flip5, so the S24U makes sense to me......or, at least, that's what I tell myself.

If you have a S Pen for you Fold, it wouldn't make any sense... Unless the screen of your devices break, which is just a matter of time.

Phantom Spirit 120 SE

Should arrive this Thursday.

I'll probably end up using XPG Vento Pro's on it instead of the stock fans. I have a stockpile of them just sitting in the closet.

I got some 2 pin switches to repair a Kensington Orbit, only to find that if one cuts off the normally unused pin for a 3 pin switch the designer left enough space for them to fit; so I could use 80 million click switches instead of 8 million.

Germany based warehouse is the closest to my location. What I would gain in lower initial price, would be lost in delivery expenses.
That is VAT included, order is in the process.

Let's stop there with off topic. If I wanted to slightly go that way, it wouldn't be about the prices really.

I must be one of the few people who doesn't have a cell phone, so I have ordered a Yubico key for authentication.

Mouse died. Got a Razer Viper 8K. My first Razer product. Feeling is good. I quickly tried some CS2 and got used to it faster than I thought I would.
Also got some thermal pads since I had a discount coupon expiring at the end of the month. Brand name is kinda funny though. :D

Can't say anything about the 8K, but I really do like my Ultimate. Plus, it gives me peace of mind of never having the main mouse switches chattering ever again.

My second Rig , Asus X470 Prime Pro bit the dust yesterday , decided to go with ASUS Prime B450M-A , works with all Gens , pair with my 1080 Ti and 2700X .

Got everything installed and running, one issue HDR wont work now , never was a problem before , did a DDU ,installed 551.23 , will reset to older driver and see what happens.

Reset TV fix that , all good.

The new purchases have already been installed, only a new Seasonic Vertex Px 1000/1200 power supply and something like 7900 xtx Tuf, Taichi, Nitro+ or 4080 S but I still have to wait for the price in Poland.

Phantom Spirit 120 is here, going to mount it after work. So far a little comparison of stock fan against XPG Vento Pro (aka modernized Gentle Typhoon):

Stock weighs almost nothing in comparison to Vento Pro. Spec'd for 1500 vs 2150 rpm.

Hey thanks for the reply and info, sweet stuff!
That surface tho looks sick to me, i would keep those indentations if at all possible, looks like it went through an intergalactic war, what's the story behind those???
It's just a "holographic" surface of the original MX518, they had that even when new. Here's a random pic from google for example:

Damn, there are modern GTs? Now I'm interested. The old ones 10+ years ago were dope when I used those in an AIO, I had 2x 1150rpm ones as a push-pull config in a 120mm AIO. I was surprised how well a 120mm AIO performed after swapping the crappy stock fan with those.
