Love my G502 , 7 years !

Mine is going for its 6th. Got it late 2018.

I'm going on year 5 or 6 with mine. After a year or two using it I realized that I like it so much I had purchased a backup one just in case. The backup one is still sitting in the box, never opened. Should the one I'm using eventually crap out some time down the road, hopefully the other one will last just as long.

My G400 performed great until cable issues.

I tend to replace switches and cables on failing mice; a chance to go braided with the cable.

What a classic I feel a lot of people have owned this mouse at some point there life I remember going to a physical pc store here and pay it for like £58 / 73USD which was a lot yes and I feel still is.

But that price doesn't come close to the mouse I use at work the Contour Unimouse it's was like £92 really expensive but it helps with my wrist when I use the mouse at work for many hours.

Absolutely did though I'm far more fond of the Microsoft Intellimouse perfect feel and good button placement.

Microsoft needs to remake the Intellimouse with a modern 8KHz polling rate USB-C detachable thus easily replaceable connector and optical switches. That would be mouse I'd mighty like to have.

I picked up a few goodies off of AliExpress.

For a backup GPU, I purchased a Soyo RTX 2060 Super ($168 USD); an RX 5700xt ($137USD) for a different computer; and for grins & giggles, an RX 580 16gb ($104USD) - which will go into an old HP Z workstation I am turning into a media server.

I am going to put these through their paces in Cinebench and Stable Diffusion this weekend.

It's a pity that the only XTXH model from sapphire is the Toxic EE, Nitro + SE is XTX. I loved Sapphire until RDNA 2 models. Nitro + 5700XT is a masterpiece.
Yeah, it really doesn't want to go under 1080mV, becomes unstable with some older games. It clocks about 2550mhz and takes 280w. But if you turn on the Trixx boost...2650mhz/380w.

My G502 Her0 gave up just when its warranty expired after 2 years. The primary switches on it developed the infamous double click issue and its pretty annoying even though the mouse stills works. I have switched to razer because of their optical switches. Been using a razer viper 8khz for the last two years and not a single double issue on it. Also own a basilisk v3. Those logitech mechanical switches are pretty unreliable atleast for me.

Yep, story of my life, except I'm still on the Viper Ultimate and fixed the Hero to use at work (because the mouse given by corporate is damn awful).

6900xt Sapphire toxic air cooled for $440 on Ebay. That thing is a beast.
Did you snag that via bidding or just bought it outright? Trying to find an affordable replacement for my 1070TI but its far harder than i thought it would be

Nice catch!

Just saw a Sapphire 6900xt for sale at another forum for $450. It's very tempting.

Not at all, compared to some custom builds it's rather tame.

It's bonkers to many sure, but people can and do spend on what they love.

@Waldorf in the end it still boils down to the same graphical fidelity vs. immersion debate. I appreciated what VR offers, but couldn't let go of muh graphics.

So I picked up a deal on a 43" QN90B instead. Set it up on a side table to separate it from my usual setup, and mounted it on a sturdy stand to bring it closer/position it better to minimize VA colour shift. The excellent brightness and amazing colours make for an amazing experience in DCS and just enjoying media as well - just a different kind of amazing than VR. Only way it could be better is if it was an OLED, but a good OLED will cost me much more than $600usd.
