Playing some 'hated' games but hey I never let others tell me what I'm supposed to have fun with.
Exactly, all that matters is that you're having fun playing the game.

Finally got Baldurs Gate 3 and four hours in I am still annoyed with the lootbox style dice roll mini game and the fact that I can't at a glance see which dialoge options have the best rolls.

You can see what the best rolls are. You can enable this in options I vaguely remember. Also, you can cast spells on yourself to boost skill rolls, or charm NPCs.

Its not really much RNG if you understand the game a bit better. You will get advantage and Inspiration bonus rolls to reroll failures by just doing cool stuff/ making decisions. You can also often retry a conversation with another character, and/or swap who rolls on something.

You can see the best rolls by hovering over the choices, but I want to see them at a glance.

And the dice roll stuff is not about the actual dice rolls, which I like, but how they are presented. It really looks like a loot box to me. You can click through the animation, and add various buffs manually, but the graphics makes it look like a loot box.

IXION... about to head for the third jump. Falling in love with this game. After a few restarts on the current chapter I think I've got a handle on things. But now I need to house a shit ton of pops...

Time for a dedicated population sector? I reckon a train station, a hospital and a boxing ring for +2 stability everywhere is a great spot for a sector dedicated to housing. Maybe I can now finally get my industry sector to tier 2... Its those kinds of puzzles that keep this game fresh. You're really balancing out every single thing to gain efficiency, or you're dead. I've already rebuilt a whole sector twice over... its a real challenge to use the most out of the limited space you have.

Already 800 housed here, I think 2000 is doable :)

It's a very particular game for people with particular tastes. I know a few people that LOVE it. I can see the appeal and have been thinking about giving it a go..

Ghostrunner, the first one.

It's good so far. Parkour is not exactly my cup of tea but I'm alright with the concept of dying over and over until you master it. At least so far, it feels balanced. Movement is usually very fluid with occasional "why didnt you climb that, how couldnt you reach that" but it could be skill issue  I'll probably jump on the new one if I can finish this. It's a little addictive.

Played Worms 3D a couple days ago. Now that's incredibly CURSED:

• Resolutions higher than 1280x720 break the game.
• Mouse sensitivity is all over the place.
• Menu music is the most annoying ohrwurm I've heard in a while...
• Physics is about 3 billion times as bad as physics from the CP2077...
• I drowned my own worms a few too many times.

No idea how I enjoyed this game when I was a kid. Worms Armageddon is leagues more enjoyable.

If you like Anno or city builders, you should. Its pretty much the same game, only the twist is limited space to build.

My memories of Worms 3D is very positive. If that's the case I wonder how we both enjoyed it back in the day. I just hope some of the problems are because of compatibility. I dont want more parts of my childhood to turn a lie

The only 3D Worms I played was Forts: Under Siege. It was a bit fun, but nowhere near what the 2D Worms are (especially Armageddon). At least, playing it at 1680x1050 didn't break the game

I am trying a little Half-Life: Alyx NoVR mod, it works but kinda sad that I cannot use both hands in-game in the mod and there is clip mode because it's possible to get stuck.

CoD4 on PS3. I'm actually very surprised that PS3 was a very young console when this came out yet runs greatly. You probably remember how everyone hated that PS3 was a difficult platform to develop games.

I'm soon in one of the coolest levels in gaming ever, the legendary Pripyat level.

Did you get the max score on all the wingsuit challenges? I wasn't able to do that in JC3, but I got them all in JC4.

I thoroughly enjoyed JC3 and haven't had so much fun in a game for ages - blowing stuff up, attaching myself to jets and kicking out the pilot - you know the rest.
However, I did capture all the strongholds and areas but there are two timed challenges that have defeated me, if I remember correctly. The ones where you have to zip from roof to roof pulling switches.
Having said that, now that several years have passed by, perhaps I should give those pesky challenges another shot?

I won all challenges, all 100%, achievements 65/66 (there is a bug in one, Bragging rights, impossible to achieve because there is no ranking, no one appears on the leaderboards, I don't know why).

It's not a hard game. Had issues with the wingsuit on the DLCs but ended up 5 stars at each single one without big problems.

Did you use a gamepad playing it maybe, because on keyboard it's very hard to be accurate enough to get max score on all of them in JC3?

One of my favorites Zelda !
I need to check this !

Just finished Super Castlevania IV (on Switch)
My favorite action Castlevania so far.
Finished it so many times ...
Don't know if it's the size of the screen, the feeling of the (fake) d-pad of the Switch, or if my skills starts to fails, but I found it harder than usual.
And it's one of the easiest in the franchise ...
But great time as usual :)

Well, first game and its DLC didnt last long once I decided to give up on cautious play and just send it  Action and parkour flow was really well balanced and I enjoyed it a lot till the end. Story was okeyish, DLC adds it some more. Let's see how it continues on second game.

Finished CoD4 last night so now it's time for CoD: World at War on PS3. Yeaah I'm playing on PS2/PS3/PS4 for a while as I have a lot of unplayed/unfinished games on my shelf. :)

Good progress in Ixion. I totally neglected the upgrades for all the different buildings until yesterday and then I figured out how huge some of them are. Sector 3 can now scale up to housing over 4000 individuals instead and all housing now produces super valuable Waste :) Recycling is big in this game. Its a life saver! Waste can become water. Waste can become Alloys, Polymers or Electronics. Waste can become food.

But now stuff is shooting at me and I am sorely lacking fire stations. Panic!

@Ahhzz If the regular difficulty is too much (which it really kinda is, for a first playthrough...), you can start custom mode and tweak every little part of it to your liking. I'd give it another spin, its a lovely game. I did the first chapter with adapted difficulty to learn the systems, and then started over on normal.
