I know I'm biased to recommend Horizon Chase (it's Brazilian-made), but the game is really good. And as I mentioned earlier, the same composer who did the old Top Gear OSTs did Horizon Chase's. It's amazing (including a throwback remix).

Well looked up my Humble Choice Library and sure enough Horizon Chase Turbo is Dec 2019. The mention of Top Gear got me interested. The beauty of Humble Choice has me playing in about 15 minutes.

I searched on Humble Choice and only found Horizon Chase 2 (on sale nonetheless). Gotta try that later.
Can't find Turbo there. Maybe I'm too late to the game, or that's a regional thing. This is the first time I used Humble Choice ever.
Maybe Turbo will get a sale on Steam tommorow. Just guessing.

Can't say anything on Humble, but on every storefront that sells it (Steam, Epic, PSN, Xbox/MS Store, Nintendo eShop) HCT is priced at US$19.99, regional prices notwithstanding.
I've only seen HC2 when it was announced at a Nintendo Direct so I haven't played it yet, nor seen videos of it.

Imagine Top Racer 1 in 2023 as a mobile game, with a minimal amount of cosmetic microtransactions and that's pretty much it. That game appears first in Apple Arcade of all things, if I read the wikipedia correct.
Only played for ~1hr, and other than the player car feels a bit floaty, the game is a bit on the easy side (for now) and there is no frame limit option that my GPU goes all out on power consumption, this is 20USD well spent. Could have been ~18.5USD.
There is the same composer and the same awesomeness in the BGM too.

The original game was a mobile game first (both iOS and Android). Then it was ported to consoles and PC as the Turbo version.
Also, HCT has the Senna Forever DLC. If you are a fan of Ayrton Senna, it kinda replicates his rise through the F1 ranks.

I love games like this, it just fits at your mood and its crazy..... The first one outfit is more like when you want a wild and jumpy ride, the second is perfect for a gentle and soft gallop. They MUST add a naughty mode which is possible to reduce her outfit to 0 and she screams like crazy. Definelly a japanese version will be very funny, imagine her last seconds she scream: "AAAAHHH ONEEECHAN, YOU WERE VERY BAD TO ME, NOOOooooo........"

This game will be a success for sure!

Well to be fair the first game has both serious armors and such outfits, its part of the game I would say.
For example my original Vindictus Fiona looked like this which is kind of normal to me:

But yea, mad nostalgia feeling for me its like I was fighting the gnoll chief for the first time. 'damn he sure took some roids since..'
Currently the game feels more like Vindisouls but I assume things will get tweaked a lot before the launch/if they launch it.

Damn I better get back to finishing FC 6 before I get distracted yet again.

as someone who grew up in a northern heavy winter state, I go out in my shorts in deep winter still, it doesn't bother me at all lol my nuts shrink and it makes it easier to walk, so kind of a win even

Well, northen US states aren't really that far north, unless you are talking northen alaska But each to their own - i am always totally covered up during the winter half year, and even then the cold makes my arthritis alot worse.

I enjoyed the original, but it gets stale relatively quickly. Definitely worth $4 though.

I kinda like the scenery in FC 6 and in general to me the game looks good. 'no performance issues either'
Close to ~80% completion now so I should be done with it in a few days, tho I also do side missions and most of the treasure hunts.

Dragons Dogma 2 is the next thing in gaming. For sure. But it will take 2 more years. Patches, DLD's and the modding community to perform wonders, + more generations of GPU's to catch up.


In the meantime, Noticed my 7800xt running at 86% in 2k Ultra. Raised it to 4k FSR quality and the game really looks amazing . Hard to believe but at 100% GPU utilization no frame difference.

In the real world. It took me 7 years to play Witcher 3 ray traced ultra, modded to perfection.


With Mass Effect 5, Dragon Age 4 and Witcher 4 nowhere on the horizon .....The present is here. This is amazing, and we won't get something like this for years to come.


(for those interested...i wasn't able to 4k this even with the new card until I upgraded to 32gb of ram)
