I’ve only tried the 120’s and they’re… ok. Worth about the $11 each you pay for them. I’d be concerned about being able to attach the 30mm thick 140’s using the stock clips. They’re both thicker and have a larger mounting pattern than the stock fans.

My 1.5 cents worth.

T30s are already hard enough to mount with stock clips - I'd imagine 140x30s borders on impossibility lol.

That said, the fan blade geometry looks really, really unoptimized for heatsink use. Case fans should be fine.

I just measured the in-between space on my FC140, its 34mm thick, so, I may not need to use any clips at all, I might just drop it in, angle it a tiny notch... might work... :D

I will await @freeagent advice before I order though, worst case is I could take some gorilla tape, fold it on itself until the gorilla tape became 4mm thick , then put a tiny piece of this 4mm thick gorilla tape on all 4 corners and squish it in... the other 140 well, maybe i will just use stock 120 on the first intake fan on the FC140, the 30mm in the middle.

leaves me with a spare 30mm thick fan though... hmmm... i guess i could put it as an extra exhaust at top. not really needed, but oh well

ok, maybe i will just save money and keep using stock fans. honestly stock fans are fine, they don't bug me at all, and are surprisingly quiet even at 100% fan speed. meh

They could certainly be worse. If you really want to get a better fan though, probably just buy 1 instead of 2, and get a P14 or Silent Wings 4 140mm. Middle 140mm fan is much more important than whatever is mounted on the front.

FC140 has no problem fitting 30mm thick fans in the middle. PA120/PS120 has less space and sucks.

Nice, but I would consider getting new cable with L shaped connectors on both side instead of that flimsy stock 3.5mm cable. Would help avoid potential failure in future.

You are correct that the bike shows signs of being a size too small or the geometry is far from an ideal fit for hard trail use.

Just don't want to cut the steerer too short. People buy a 500 quid fork, then cut it to 170mm for their bike, basically means you cannot sell it on. The Yari's are great forks so not gonna cut it below 200, i will just use the spacers to adjust the bar height with spacers above or below the stem.

The head tube on the frame is about 102mm, so with a 20mm spacer and 40mm stem height the steerer would be only 162mm, so unles the buyer has a short head tube it is no good. I have seen loads of great forks on ebay with steerers shorter than 180mm, they will have trouble selling them.

The bike is great, but yeah the fork is probably too much for the frame. Fork is 150mm travel and the frame probably only needs 120-130, but shrug, i love the yari fork so not bothered.

It meant I tore down every issue your bike was likely to have been manufactured with. Expecting it would inspire great care or even greater force in the correct places. Such as grinding down a wrench to a few mm thick without undoing the metal tempering. Or putting it in your mind to pull out your fork to check for damage, relube the headset, and make sure it everything is put back together tight. :)

I haven't watched the YT videos but isn't all the stuff mentioned there related to the US branch?

I really got no idea mate. Just seen a bunch of posts about them going bust, but those rads I just purchased are very nice quality. They don't look like they've come from a company that's going under.

I really got no idea mate. Just seen a bunch of posts about them going bust, but those rads I just purchased are very nice quality. They don't look like they've come from a company that's going under.
EK going bust?

Maybe they need to revise their EK tax pricing and they might sell more stuff.

This month I bought a slightly used Logitech G913 (linear switch) for $70. Seeing that it is still one of the best full size wireless gaming keyboard available.
4 years ago I had it but with clicky switch. Sadly it died after some months of use and got a refund back.

Also bought Q acoustics QB12 subwoofer for $407 which paired nicely with the Q acoustics M20 HD speakers.

Well...

Some things to note before ppl question me.
Yes its a K CPU with a budget-ish B mobo, reasons being:
This is like 25-30$ cheaper than a 13400F where I live so I was like I aint gonna pay more for a weaker CPU. 'stock vs stock ofc'
+I don't care about OC in the first place so even in a Z mobo I would run this at stock.

And the F part, never used nor cared about the IGPU variants since I have no use for that and I/my bro rather keep a cheapo low power draw GPU around as an emergency card if needed.

Bought it from a trusted hardware seller on our second hand marketplace but this is like brand new in a sealed box but still cheaper than retail + the dude is actually buying my 12100F so I will make some money back. 'after selling the 12100 this upgrade will cost me around 128$ in total'
Contact frame cost me like 3$ from Aliexpress and it gets the job done, took me 2 tries to install it properly since the PC wasn't booting for the first try but then I've tightened down the frame a bit more and that fixed it and now it runs with no issues. 'I was trying to be really careful with it'
Applied a stable −120mV undervolt in the Bios/stock power limits are on and with that my current cooler is plenty enough with a more silence focused fan setting. 'same as the one I was using with my 12100'
I will put some benches and temps in spoilers:

10 mins of multi core looping:
12600KF120mVcine23temps.jpg

I've also tested it in Cyberpunk with High settings+RT/DLSS Quality and High crowd density and it was staying under 60 celsius which is all good with me.

Okay now y'all can stop referring/summoning me on the forum as the i3 guy. 'Tho I will always have a special place for those CPUs, who knows maybe in a good few years and generations later I will pick up another modern i3 if they still exist at the time:D'

Your profile specs still say you're the i3 guy
